Why Ground Ops at LocaVR
Ground operation is at the core of everything we do. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Branch Manager to help us grow and oversee the daily operations of our 30a Florida branch, drive team performance, and act as a bridge between branch teams and the executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Team Management & Leadership:
- Act as the primary escalation point for the branch. (Inspectors, Maintenance Technicians, and 3rd party vendors)
- Ensure adequate staffing, stepping in during their off times when necessary.
- Oversee the hiring, training, and development of new team members.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and implement performance improvement measures.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and open communication across all branches.
Project Management
- Manage and implement in-depth seasonal (Spring & Winter) property inspections.
- Conduct weekly office inventory reports and maintain adequate supplies & inventory.
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new rental units.
Operational Efficiency:
- Lead the implementation of new procedures, processes, and systems.
- Regularly review and improve existing operations to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Demonstrated expertise in Slack, Salesforce (Service Cloud & Field Service Lightning), ResortCleaning, and Dialpad.
- Ensure all properties maintain high cleanliness, and maintenance and are properly stocked with necessary supplies.
Schedule Management:
- Manage daily and weekly schedules using Field Service Lightning.
- Review daily and weekly cases & work orders, and forecast team capacity.
Financial Management:
- Oversee billable labor, backstock, and inventory management.
- Manage payroll, Ramp expenses, and participate in monthly owner statement reviews.
- Participate in monthly branch financial reviews.
- Implement strategies to optimize profitability and cost efficiency.
Vendor Relationships:
- Negotiate and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure quality services and products at competitive prices.
- Manage vendor contracts, payments, and renewals.
Triage & Dispatch:
- Serve as the primary point of escalation for the inspection team, guest services, and client success.
- Monitor communications across branches using Dialpad, Slack, and Email.
Performance Metrics:
- Track and improve the time to resolve High/Urgent work orders.
- Manage operating margin (payroll, inventory, and billables)
- Owner Stay Net Promoter Score (NPS) and guest reviews.
- Maintain an optimal property-to-inspector ratio.
Collaborate with the Director of Ground Operations and other executive members to strategize and drive company-wide goals.
Recommended Schedule:
Daily:
- Review Branch Manager dashboards and set daily schedule
- Monitor proper channels (Salesforce chatter, Slack, etc.) for urgent / high-priority items
- Daily Branch Team meetings
- Triage & dispatch
Weekly:
- Work Order & Case Management
- Branch Operations meetings
- Onboarding Meetings
- Schedule forecasting
- 1:1s with team members
- Payroll
- Facilitate special seasonal projects (mud season & winter inspections and prep)
- Ramp expense oversight
Monthly:
- P&L review and meetings with Finance
- Occasional 1:1 with other key members of the ground ops team
- Attend Ground Ops OKR meeting(s)
Every 4-6 weeks:
- Operational improvement in the field at a Branch every 4-6 weeks
