Remediation Specialist


We are looking for a Remediation Specialist to review of life insurance policies in their assigned portfolios.  This role will provide reporting and documentation on the performance of the policies to clients and policy owners so they can make informed decisions and realize the full value of life insurance assets. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Analyze poorly performing life insurance policies to identify potential risks.
  • Use advanced life insurance knowledge to determine solutions to remediate the identified risks.
  • Establish and maintain close working relationships with clients.
  • Lead discussions with clients on policy issues and present resolutions through video conferencing or phone.
  • Intervene with carriers in a professional manner on behalf of the trustee.
  • Maintain current working queues and reporting as required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  •   Bachelor’s degree in business field or equivalent work experience
  •    2+ years experience working in life insurance industry, including reviewing and interpreting life insurance policy illustrations and the ability to explain complexities of life insurance clearly and concisely
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office
  • Preference given to candidates with CLU or CFA designation


Location

  •    Primarily remote (access to reliable internet connection required) with quarterly visits to Cedar Falls, IA

The base pay range for this role is $52,000 – $72,500.  Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
