Hi, I'm Sebastian, Director of Revenue Operations of Loop and I am hiring a Partnerships Manager to support me in developing partnerships with other organizations that service our target customer segment in order to help us grow our business and expand our network. This role is an onsite position at our downtown Toronto office.

Where You Come In

You will play a critical role in supporting the growth of Loop’s global banking solution through channel partnerships. Your task will be to identify opportunities and develop partnerships with organizations that service Loop’s target customer segment. You will have the freedom to develop innovative partnership ideas that contribute significantly to Loop’s growth. You’ll closely work with our sales and customer success teams to ensure new and existing partners and customers have a best in class experience with Loop.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Identify and source new channel partnerships with accounting firms, consulting firms, industry organizations, accelerators, and software vendors, and other channels that fit our target customers profile. 

  • Generate sales opportunities through referrals from our network of partners, working to achieve your quarterly revenue targets.

  • Develop and implement partnership plans aligned with Loop’s and our partners’ objectives.

  • Negotiate, finalize and document partnership agreements.

  • Act as the partner account manager with the goal of managing and retaining existing partnerships.

  • Monitor the performance of each partnership and provide regular reports to revenue leadership on the channel.

  • Gather feedback from prospective and existing partners on how Loop can improve our partnership channel and work cross-departmentally to move initiatives forward with sales, product, and operations.

  • Experiment with new types of partnerships models and industries to find new ways to add value for Loop.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (including but not limited to sales, product, marketing) on go-to-market strategies, marketing initiatives and other cross-functional initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or sales, preferably in FinTech or Software.

  • Proven track record of driving business growth through partnerships or proven track record of selling to finance professionals.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Strategic thinking ability to identify and develop mutually beneficial partnerships.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with high passion to make an impact.

  • Ability to put together comprehensive pitch decks and joint business plans for a senior audience.

  • Experience of working at a start-up and in a fast paced environment. 

It's a Bonus if You Have

  • Experience in selling to accounting or consulting firms

  • Understanding of the FinTech industry, payments ecosystem, and emerging trends

What we offer

  • Salary range CAD$65-70k base annual, OTE $95-100k, commensurate with experience 

  • Equity ranging 0.05%-0.1%

  • 3 weeks vacation 

  • Enrollment in group's health benefits after probation period 

Interview Process

  • 30 minutes video call to discuss the opportunity and the organization with Sebastian, Director of Revenue Operations

  • 60 minutes in person interview with 2 members of the Revenue team 

  • Take home assignment

  • 30 minutes in person meeting with Cato, CEO

  • Background check and offer
