About the role
We are seeking an experienced Issuer Relationship Manager to serve as the primary liaison between our organization and issuing partners, driving engagement, optimizing relationships, and ensuring seamless integration of services across all channels and geographies.
Success in this role requires a combination of strong relationship management skills, technical understanding, and strategic thinking to drive issuer engagement and platform adoption while ensuring operational efficiency and compliance.
What you'll do
Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong strategic partnerships with issuers, positioning Luma as a valuable partner that drives efficiencies and volume growth.
- Drive and manage the commercial and business development process with all our issuer partners.
- Coordinate communication across different channels and geographies to maximize pricing and transactional flow reporting
- Showcase Luma's comprehensive client base and business scope to demonstrate value proposition
- Serve as the central point of contact for issuer concerns and feedback
Integration Management
- Oversee implementation of pricing and product integrations. Prioritize and balance API development between pricing and product requirements.
- Coordinate with technical teams to establish implementation timelines. Ensure scalability of solutions across all channel products and geographical regions
Agreement Management
- Coordinate cross-geographical agreements while accounting for regional variations in products and legal entities.
- Collaborate with the finance team on having an efficient invoicing processes
- Negotiate and implement agreements across different issuer related products (e.g. securitized, over-the-counter, etc)
- Oversee and data usage terms and conditions in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
Information & Analytics
- Drive and coordinate the generation of pricing and transactional volume reports
- Drive and own in collaboration with Product Owners the development of issuer-focused UI features
- Drive issuer engagement through valuable platform content and features
- Contribute to platform roadmap development focusing on issuer experience
- Enhance dashboard UI and functionality
- Implement efficiency improvements in issuer workflows, including notification systems for pricing and product events.
Qualifications
Required:
- Extensive sell-side network within the structured products area (Americas: Required / Global: Preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in financial services with focus on issuer relationships
- Strong understanding of structured products and capital markets
- Excellent project management and coordination skills
- Superior communication and negotiation abilities
- Technical aptitude with experience in platform integrations
- Proven track record of managing complex stakeholder relationships
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Business or related field
- Experience with API implementations
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements in multiple jurisdictions
- Previous experience with trading platforms or financial technology
