Job Title: Sr. Network and Linux Systems Administrator
Location: Campbell, CA - Hybrid (onsite 3+ days per week)
Pay Range: $120,000 - $140,000 + Bonus Eligible

- CoreSuite 2.0: A suite of graphics libraries and tools that enable GPU hardware acceleration for both graphics and "GPU Compute", supporting applications such as machine learning and AI processing in edge devices.
- MOSA.ic.SCA and Vigiles, tools that provide Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) and Common Vulnerabilities Exposure (CVE) management for embedded Linux-based and other applications.
- Software development services for high-reliability applications that can include initial setup of a "DevSecOps" development environment, software application development, and long-term product lifecycle management.
The Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated On-Site Systems Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting both physical and virtual environments and will have a strong understanding of networking, Linux servers of various flavors, Microsoft 365, and Intune. This role requires the candidate to maintain a “Security First” mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and support physical and virtual environments using ESXi, ProxMox, and KVM.
- Support and maintain Linux-based servers, including Debian, Rocky Linux, Fedora, Arch, and other distributions.
- Networking and Firewall responsibilities at local office
- Familiarity with CI/CD products, and Jira/Confluence admin experience a plus.
- Identify areas for improvement and suggest and implement changes to optimize system performance and efficiency.
- Understand out-of-band management concepts using iLO and iDRAC technologies to manage and troubleshoot servers remotely, even when the operating system is down.
- Provide end-user support as needed, ensuring timely resolution of issues and excellent customer service.
- Maintain, patch, upgrade, and replace servers as needed.
- Continuously monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of critical systems.
- Perform regular system audits and generate reports on system health and performance.
- Implement and manage security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
- Develop and maintain backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Perform regular backups and test recovery processes. Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes.
- Work closely with other IT team members to coordinate projects and resolve issues.
- Support and manage Microsoft 365 and Intune environments for end-user needs.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a related field/role
- Prefer Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline; professional certification is a plus.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Ability to work independently and proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including DHCP, VLANs, and routing.
- Proficient in managing and supporting Linux-based operating systems (Debian, Fedora, Arch, etc.).
- Experience with ESXi, ProxMox, and KVM virtualization technologies.
- Provide networking support, including DHCP, VLANs, and routing.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Podman.
- Knowledge of SAN technologies (NetApp/EMC).
- Maintain enterprise-grade storage devices including NetApp and EMC SANs.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Intune for end-user support.
- Preferred certifications: (e.g., CompTIA Linux+, RHCE, etc.).
- May require the ability to move and carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
