We are currently looking for a Systems Analyst based in San Francisco to join Macquarie AirFinance, a global aircraft leasing company.  As a member of the Financial Systems team, you will be a critical part of a collaborative team focusing on automation within our financial systems and the ability to establish and/or improve business processes.  The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and a team player with a working knowledge of system integrations and financial applications.

 

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

The Systems Analyst works within the financial systems team reporting to the VP Financial Systems. 

  

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

· Perform quality assurance testing of application releases and new features to ensure that requirements are met, to validate existing processes and to confirm the testing results are as expected.

· Collect and understand business issues and requirements from users, write detailed descriptions of user needs, identify and analyze solutions, coordinate development, testing and output to ensure requirements are met.

· Participate in and support user acceptance testing and deployment of a solution to production.

· Provide application support to end users including answering technical questions, troubleshooting & managing issue resolution and assisting with problem solving and escalations.

· Assist with process improvements and automate manual processes to achieve efficiency and scalability.

· Assist with enhancement of existing business processes and systems, including designing and integrating new systems.

· Collaborate with team to assess business problems and processes to identify actionable opportunities for improvement, design solutions and determine financial impact.

· Support multiple integrations including configurations, conversions and change management.

· Understand integration points and analyze impacts with other systems that interface with the applications.

· Work with application support teams to resolve system production issues.

· Maintain and manage the vendor master listing. Assist with data cleanup, consolidation and set up automation.

· Own problems to completion. Takes ownership and develops solutions towards resolving incidents.

· Adhoc project work and requests as required or assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Education & Experience:  Bachelor’s degree in related area or equivalent 2-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

· Knowledge in and experience with Oracle NetSuite and Workato a plus

· Strong problem-solving, analytical, and written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to communicate technical issues in terms understood by internal customers as well as external support teams and consultants

· Detail-oriented and able to effectively organize and manage multiple responsibilities

· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team and suggest improvements to various processes

· Eagerness to learn and willingness to take on new challenges

· Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

· Commitment to excellence and high standards

 

The salary range for the Systems Analyst role is $80,000.00 to $110,000.00.

Compensation:

The salary range provided is intended for candidates who meet the minimum requirements of the role,  At Macquarie AirFinance, we carefully consider a wide range of factors to determine the base salary offered.  We review several market factors, consider the level of the respective role, and a candidate's skills and experience.  When we extend an offer, the compensation offered will be based on these factors and the individual candidates' qualifications.
