REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS |
The Senior Insurance & Corporate Affairs Specialist reports to the Vice President, Insurance & Corporate Affairs.
SUMMARY OF JOB DESCRIPTION |
Administers the day-to-day insurance affairs of the Company and assists with special corporate and insurance projects. Additionally, the Senior Insurance & Corporate Affairs Specialist will assist the Vice President, Insurance & Corporate Affairs with corporate secretarial and paralegal duties.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS |
Insurance Duties:
· Assist with Counterparty Insurance Compliance:
· Verify airline lessees have appropriate aviation insurances in place before aircraft are delivered under lease agreements
· Verify airline lessee insurances are renewed annually
· Verify other counterparty insurances are in place, as appropriate
· Arrange for evidence of the Company’s aviation insurances to be provided to financing banks, suppliers (banks, repair shops, flight services operators, etc.), as necessary
· Provide support in the documentation of letters of intent, lease and sale agreements and aircraft maintenance, storage and flight services agreements
· Assist with due diligence in connection with prospective aircraft acquisitions
· Responsible for quarterly aircraft reporting required under Company’s aviation insurance policies
· Responsible for updating and upkeep of aircraft lease insurance requirements in Company’s contract management software application
· Other assigned duties and projects
Corporate Affairs Duties:
· Assist with the maintenance of corporate data within Blueprint, Company’s database for the management of corporate information
· Assist with KYC requests
· Assist with drafting and managing board approvals for corporate (bonds, dividends, ownership transfers, equity issuances) and aircraft (lease, sale, purchase, financing) transactions
· Assist with managing closing documentation for aircraft and corporate transactions
· Assist with corporate secretarial matters
· Provide general support to the San Francisco based Legal and Insurance personnel

Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; or 5-8 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation:
The salary range provided is intended for candidates who meet the minimum requirements of the role, At Macquarie AirFinance, we carefully consider a wide range of factors to determine the base salary offered. We review several market factors, consider the level of the respective role, and a candidate's skills and experience. When we extend an offer, the compensation offered will be based on these factors and the individual candidates' qualifications.
The compensation range for the Senior Insurance & Corporate Affairs Specialist is $79,000.00 to $100,000.00
