Malwarebytes/ThreatDown is looking for..

An experienced, hands-on Product Design Manager to lead and grow our talented design team. In this role, you’ll blend deep product design expertise with strong people leadership to deliver exceptional, user-centric experiences that scale with our expanding mid-market customer base. The ideal candidate combines strategic vision, strong design craft, and sharp attention to detail. They thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and can quickly adapt to shifting priorities and business needs.


What You Will Do: 

  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of product designers by setting clear goals, providing feedback, and helping them grow and deliver their best work.
  • Stay hands-on with design, guiding projects, reviewing work, and maintaining a strong eye for detail to ensure all design meets the highest standards of quality, consistency, and usability.
  • Drive creative problem solving across the team to find innovative and practical solutions to complex design challenges.
  • Define success metrics for design initiatives, track outcomes, and use data and feedback to continuously improve the user experience.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, QA, and Research to turn business requirements and user needs into clear, effective design solutions.
  • Partner with UX researchers on explorative and evaluative studies to uncover insights and inform design direction.
  • Shape and evolve design systems, patterns, and processes to maintain consistency and efficiency across the platform.
  • Build a culture of collaboration, curiosity, and accountability where designers are empowered to take ownership and deliver impact.
  • Advocate for the user throughout the product development process, ensuring design decisions balance usability, business goals, and technical realities

Skills You'll Need to Have:

  • 5+ years of product design experience, including leading and managing design teams to deliver high-impact work.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of management experience.
  • Strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of design principles, and a keen eye for detail.
  • Proven experience designing and scaling B2B SaaS platforms preferably for mid-market and managed service providers (MSPs).
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end UX processes, from research and IA to high-fidelity design and prototyping.
  • Proficiency in Figma (and other modern design tools).
  • Creative thinker, problem-solver, and have a strong track record of delivering successful design projects.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, and able to influence at all levels.
  • Ability to influence high-level product design strategy and decision-making within leadership teams.
  • Experience in the cybersecurity industry.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
