Malwarebytes/ThreatDown is looking for..

A strategic, revenue-focused VP / Head of Marketing to lead global marketing strategy and execution across brand, demand generation, product marketing, communications, and channel/partner marketing. 

This executive will serve as a core member of the leadership team, responsible for driving pipeline growth, strengthening competitive differentiation, and expanding ThreatDown’s presence in the cybersecurity market—particularly through MSP, VAR, distributor, and strategic alliance ecosystems. 

The ideal candidate combines strong enterprise marketing leadership with deep expertise in channel and partner marketing within cybersecurity or B2B SaaS. This role requires a builder who can scale systems, teams, and performance while aligning tightly with Sales and Channel leadership to drive measurable revenue impact. 


Target Compensation: $220-250K + Bonus


What You Will Do:

Strategic Leadership & Revenue Accountability 

  • Own the global marketing strategy aligned to company growth objectives and revenue targets. 
  • Lead annual and quarterly planning across pipeline generation, brand awareness, and partner-driven revenue. 
  • Serve as a key advisor to the GM and executive team on market positioning, category strategy, and growth investments. 
  • Establish clear KPIs tied to pipeline, partner contribution, CAC efficiency, and revenue performance. 

Channel & Partner Marketing Leadership (Core Focus) 

  • Develop and scale a best-in-class partner marketing strategy across MSPs, VARs, distributors, and strategic alliances. 
  • Build joint GTM plans with top-tier partners, including co-branded campaigns, enablement programs, and MDF execution. 
  • Drive partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline growth. 
  • Develop scalable partner toolkits, playbooks, and enablement materials. 
  • Partner closely with Channel Sales leadership to align messaging, incentives, and program effectiveness. 
  • Optimize partner segmentation and tiering to maximize ROI and strategic impact. 
  • Establish measurement frameworks for partner marketing contribution and ROI. 

Demand Generation & Pipeline Growth 

  • Oversee integrated, multi-channel demand generation programs across digital, field, content, and events. 
  • Align messaging and campaigns to product launches, competitive plays, and vertical strategies. 
  • Improve funnel performance across MQL, SQL, opportunity conversion, and win rate. 
  • Optimize marketing technology, attribution models, and performance analytics. 

Product Marketing & Positioning 

  • Ensure clear, differentiated positioning in a competitive cybersecurity landscape. 
  • Strengthen analyst relations and industry credibility. 
  • Drive compelling messaging tailored to IT leaders, CISOs, security practitioners, and channel partners. 
  • Influence pricing, packaging, and portfolio strategy through market insight. 

Brand & Communications 

  • Elevate ThreatDown’s brand authority in cybersecurity. 
  • Lead corporate communications, PR, thought leadership, and executive visibility strategies. 
  • Strengthen market perception among customers, partners, analysts, and investors. 

Organizational Leadership 

  • Develop and scale a high-performing, data-driven marketing organization. 
  • Foster strong cross-functional alignment with Sales, Channel, Product, and Customer Success. 
  • Develop marketing talent and leadership bench strength. 
  • Implement scalable processes that support rapid growth and operational excellence. 

Skills You'll Need to Have:

  • 15+ years of progressive B2B marketing leadership experience, with significant experience in cybersecurity or adjacent SaaS markets. 
  • Deep expertise in channel and partner marketing, particularly in MSP and VAR ecosystems. 
  • Proven success driving partner-sourced and partner-influenced revenue growth. 
  • Demonstrated experience leading global, multi-functional marketing teams. 
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders and board members. 
  • Track record of scaling marketing organizations in high-growth environments. 
  • Strong analytical and operational rigor, with experience managing budgets and marketing ROI. 
  • Experience aligning marketing and channel sales organizations to maximize growth. 
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
