Position Overview
We are hiring a high-performing Account Executive (AE) to drive net-new revenue by selling Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2 Assessments and related services to the Defense Industrial Base (DIB). This is a senior-level role for a proven B2B sales professional who thrives in full-cycle sales, understands complex cybersecurity and compliance frameworks, and has a track record of closing deals in a highly regulated market.
Base salary plus uncapped commission on-target earnings (OTE). Commissions are paid monthly following the period in which they were earned, and there are no clawback clauses on earned commissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-Cycle Sales Management: Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting and pipeline generation to negotiating and closing deals for CMMC Level 2 Assessments, managed services, and secure enclaves.

- Discovery & Qualification: Conduct in-depth discovery calls to understand prospects’ compliance needs, technical environments, and business objectives. Qualify opportunities using defined BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline) criteria.
- Solution Positioning: Articulate the value proposition of MNS Group’s C3PAO assessment services, guiding organizations through the complexities of CMMC 2.0, NIST 800-171, and DFARS requirements.
- CRM & Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, pipeline progression, and forecasting in HubSpot. Provide regular reporting on sales metrics and quota attainment.
- Quota Attainment: Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
- Industry Expertise: Develop and maintain deep expertise in CMMC requirements, the Department of Defense cybersecurity ecosystem, and the competitive landscape to serve as a trusted advisor to prospects.

- 5+ years of professional experience in full-cycle B2B sales, specifically selling technology, cybersecurity, compliance, SaaS, or professional services.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a complex, solution-selling environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing a sales pipeline, accurately forecasting revenue, and closing deals ranging from SMB and mid-market level accounts.
- Experience using a CRM system to document activities, manage leads, and track pipeline (HubSpot preferred).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical and compliance concepts to executive-level decision-makers.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work effectively in a remote environment, and drive deals to completion independently.
