The Opportunity
We are seeking a high-performing Senior Sales Executive who will take full ownership of driving revenue growth and expanding our client base. In this role, you won’t just be selling services—you will be shaping the future of our business, leveraging your deep understanding of the insurance industry to deliver value-driven solutions. We need someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, a consultative approach, and a relentless drive for results.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence.
- New Business Development: Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities with insurance carriers, MGAs, and other key stakeholders in the industry.
- Consultative Selling: Understand client pain points, present tailored solutions, and position Martin & Company’s services as essential to their success.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and industry leaders.
- Bundled Service & Software Sales: Drive sales of professional services while integrating software solutions into client engagements.
- Revenue Optimization: Balance service and software revenue growth to maximize client value and ensure sustainable business expansion.
- Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscapes to refine sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with consulting, product, and marketing teams to refine our go-to-market strategy for bundled service/software offerings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in sales, business development, or client acquisition within the property & casualty insurance or insurance technology sectors; proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and closing deals in the $25K ACV range
- Proven ability to sell software-enhanced service models and monetize software as an extension of consulting services.
- Deep understanding of insurance industry compliance, market needs, and operational challenges.
- Strong consultative sales approach, with a track record of building trusted client relationships and closing high-value deals.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Experience working with CRM software (preferably HubSpot) and sales analytics tools.

Salary and Benefits
The base salary for this position is $125,000 + commission (OTE $250K). Final salary offer will be based on several factors including commensurate experience, qualifications, and skills.
