The Opportunity
As the Head of Marketing for Martin & Company, you will be responsible for spearheading their marketing efforts and driving demand and growth for the company’s SaaS solution. You will serve as a one-person marketing department during this initial phase of scaling our SaaS business, including developing and executing strategic initiatives to bring Martin’s product to market, establish its brand presence, and drive lead generation efforts.
Key Responsibilities
● HubSpot: includes designing automation workflows, executing nurture email campaigns, creating a process to track and nurture offline leads (IE trade shows), etc
● Develop and implement GTM marketing strategies to bring to market and promote Martin’s SaaS offering over time, including new customer acquisition and cross-selling
● Establish and manage lead generation processes for online and offline channels
● Collaborate closely with internal teams, including sales and technology, to understand and share insights on product features, benefits, and competitive advantages
● Lead efforts to revamp and optimize Martin’s brand and assets/collateral, including website and event assets, and manage any outside agencies involved in this work
● Develop content to increase organic traffic and engagement, and support thought leadership and lead generation
● Own brand strategy, including honing the voice, storytelling, brand identity, and brand values. Maintain brand consistency across all communications
● Partner with sales and other internal teams to develop resources, content, and tools to sell more effectively and drive customer engagement
● Develop reports to deeply understand marketing performance and return on investment, and consistently leverage data to evaluate and optimize performance
● Support the integration of new companies and brands associated with any M&A activity, ensuring a holistic brand narrative
● Build and manage the marketing budget
● Identify and manage any freelancers required to support the marketing program
Qualifications
● Proven track record of success in marketing roles, with at least 5 years of experience in B2B technology or SaaS marketing.
● Entrepreneurial mindset and enthusiasm for both marketing strategy and execution
● Full-stack digital marketing experience, including demand gen/growth, sales enablement, brand, and product marketing
● Proficiency in digital marketing channels and tools, including email, SEO, social media, and analytics platforms.
● Experience with lead generation across online and offline channels, including content marketing, email, on- and offline events.
● Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing strategic marketing plans, including GTM strategies and product launches.
● Demonstrated experience and comfort with data and in results-driven environments, including owning key metrics
● Strong knowledge and experience in setting up and managing marketing automation and reporting (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo).
● Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts and ideas to diverse audiences.
● Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
● Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
● Creative problem-solver with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
Preferred but not required:
● Track record of building out a new marketing program from 0 to 10
● Experience with Account Based Marketing (ABM)
● Exposure to the commercial insurance industry

Salary and Benefits
The base salary for this position is $140 - 150K. Final salary offer will be based on several factors including commensurate experience, qualifications, and skills.
