MBS is looking for a highly organized, proactive intern to assist in studio management, logistics, design
support, and gallery operations. This is a hands-on role in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment,
working across interior design projects and collectible furniture & art management.
Internship missions
1. Assist the Studio Manager on day-to-day activities
• Assist with all studio-related issues, ensure the studio is always clean, organized, and fully stocked for client
and vendors meetings.
• Manage supplies, groceries, and daily operational tasks
• Assist in team travel arrangements, including booking flights, hotels, and transport.
• Support expense tracking and invoice organization, assisting with basic accounting tasks.
• Source and collect material samples, ensuring designers have the necessary references.
2. Assist the Operations Manager on project logistics
• Assist with project installations, coordinate logistics and procurement, ensuring smooth customs clearance,
pick-ups, storage, and deliveries for the design projects.
• Manage procurement follow-up, including returns, defects, and exchanges.
• Assist with artwork logistics, coordinating transport, restoration, and storage for the studio & design projects.
• Draft condition reports for incoming furniture and artworks
3. Assist with gallery & inventory management
• Working on the inventory, keeping records structured and accessible for sales and exhibitions.
• Maintain and update Artlogic, ensuring accurate cataloging of artworks and collectible furniture.
• Conduct research on artworks and collectible furniture on our own inventory
4. Creative Director executive assistant
• Support the Creative Director with schedule coordination, travel planning, and meeting logistics.
• Provide executive support for daily needs when the Creative Director is in Paris
• Ensure a high-end client experience at the studio, maintaining a refined and welcoming atmosphere.
What We Are Looking For
• Highly organized, proactive, and independent, with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, handle multiple tasks, and anticipate needs.
• Strong interest and sensitivity to design, furniture, and contemporary art.
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Microsoft Office) is required.
• Familiarity with Artlogic is a plus.
• Fluent in English and French
Duration: 4 to 6 months (part-time possible).
Location: Paris, France (possibility of remote work).
