About the role

The transportation industry has no shortage of complex problems requiring creative solutions to scale efficiently.  The Implementation Specialist plays a key supporting role in the successful delivery of Mastery’s TMS, MasterMind. As a detail-oriented, execution-focused member of the implementation team, the Implementation Specialist is responsible for carrying out specific technical and operational tasks that ensure the system is properly configured, tested, and ready for client use. This is an entry-level position ideal for someone looking to grow their career in software implementation, with exposure to logistics technology, business processes, and client operations. 


Responsibilities

Configuration and User Acceptance Validation 

  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of future workflows and business processes 
  • Execute hands-on configuration tasks within the TMS platform, including Data Dictionary Terms user roles, scopes, permissions, and other system settings based on client-specific requirements. 
  • Perform initial data migration activities, support creation of data migration templates, and conduct configuration adjustments in alignment with implementation plans. 
  • Assist in the preparation, execution, and validation of UAT test cases to ensure proper system functionality and client satisfaction. 
  • Support defect resolution in collaboration with the broader implementation and product teams 

MasterMind Proficiency  

  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the TMS platform through hands-on experience and structured training sessions. 
  • Stay current on platform updates, new features, and best practices by participating in ongoing enablement programs and internal learning opportunities. 
  • Apply newly acquired knowledge to improve implementation efficiency and contribute to client solutioning efforts. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Work closely with Implementation Leads, Managers, and Product teams to ensure that configuration and testing tasks align with broader project goals. 
  • Participate in team meetings and client interactions to provide task updates and share technical insights when appropriate. 


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). 
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills. 
  • Basic understanding of enterprise software platforms or transportation/logistics processes is a plus. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. 
  • Self-starter with a growth mindset and a desire to build technical expertise in a collaborative team environment. 


Estimated Compensation:
$70,000 - $90,000 base salary per annum (commensurate with experience and ability)
