About The Role

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our Shared Services team. This full-time, hourly position is perfect for an experienced professional with at least 5 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting. The ideal candidate will be adept at using QuickBooks and QBO, possess expert-level accounting knowledge, and have a strong command of the English language. Join us as we manage financial operations with precision to ensure smooth and efficient processes.


What You'll Do

  • Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring they are continually updated and in compliance with company policies.
  • Reconcile accounts and financial statements, identifying and correcting discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Process and manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Collaborate with the Shared Services team to support the overall financial health of the organization.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for review by management.
  • Assist in payroll processing and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Manage and oversee day-to-day bookkeeping functions using QuickBooks and QBO.
  • Provide support for annual audits and other financial reviews as required.
  • Offer recommendations for process improvements to streamline accounting operations.
  • Handle various administrative tasks related to accounting and financial documentation.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting roles.
  • Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks and QBO (QuickBooks Online).
  • Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and best practices.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Experience working in a shared services or collaborative team environment is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing processes and demands within the role.
