JOB SUMMARY:

The Mortgage Reverification Specialist performs quality control activities on post-close loans. This person will be responsible for performing reverifications on loan documents, as required by Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, or as according to the Client’s QC Plan.


JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


●    Maintain a disciplined and effective process and approach to managing client's scopes and internal processes. 


●    Request post-close reverifications of credit, income and employment, and order tax transcripts.


●    Request post-close reverifications of asset documentations used for down payment, closing costs, and reserves.  These include borrower financial institutions or gift funds.


●    Reverifications will be requested through third party vendors, but if applicable, may need to obtain verbal verifications by contacting external parties.


●    If applicable, prepare and mail letters for reverifications.


●    Perform second reverification requests, as applicable.


●    Review documentation received from reverification and validate information matches the loan and add alerts /findings in system, when applicable.


●    Ensure all first and second attempt reverifications and documents received are accurately captured in system of record.


●    Perform all levels of communication in a professional manner and adhere to Maxwell’s values.


●    Perform any additional tasks as requested by Management.


●    Meet all service level agreements.


SKILLS & ABILITIES:


●    Ability to successfully consult with multiple interested parties, and execute on business objectives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment


●    Ability to telecommute 


●    High technical aptitude - familiarity with Slack, Zoom, Microsoft Office


RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:


●   Minimum 1 year of mortgage experience, preferably in quality control, processing or due diligence reviews, with strong ability to analyze data drifts.


●   Knowledge of residential mortgage loan documents

The pay range for this role is:

24 - 26 USD per hour (Remote (United States))
