Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Engineer to join our dynamic sales team. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for leading technical discussions with prospective clients and demonstrating how our products or services can meet their needs. You will collaborate closely with our sales and product teams to ensure smooth integration of our solutions into client environments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of successful sales engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Expertise: Serve as the primary technical resource for the sales team, understanding client requirements and articulating how our solutions can address them.

  • Product Demonstrations: Conduct compelling product demonstrations tailored to the specific needs of potential clients.

  • Solution Design: Collaborate with the product team on ideas and features based on client feedback and technical requirements. Understand the specification and state of future products especially those due to be completed and shipped in a 6 - 12 month window.

  • Proposal Development: Assist in the preparation of technical proposals and statements of work (SOWs) with the Operations team and Customer Success team. 

  • Customer Support: Provide ongoing technical support to clients throughout the sales process. After deployment assist the technical support team as required. 

  • Training and Knowledge Sharing: Train sales team members on technical aspects of products and services. Goal is to ensure they are proficient in all first line product discussions with customers

  • Market Insights: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor products in the CMMS and Enterprise Asset Management market to provide strategic insights to the sales team.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales engineering or equivalent customer-facing role within the mission critical arena. Experience of selling CMMS and Enterprise Asset Management products. Knowledge of Data Centers and that industry and how it operates and its key requirements and dependencies. 

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Salesforce architecture, Custom Objects, APIs, Einstein Analytics, and Flow Builder

  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build relationships with clients.

  • Travel: Willingness to travel as needed to client sites (approximately 25%).
