We are seeking a Salesforce Engineering Manager to lead our engineering efforts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality Salesforce-based solutions that meet our clients' unique needs.

Position Overview: As the Salesforce Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Salesforce engineers in the design, development, and deployment of our software products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, QA, and customer success, to deliver solutions that align with our business goals and exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Salesforce engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, standards, test based development and technical excellence.
  • Technical Strategy: Define and implement the technical strategy for Salesforce development, ensuring alignment with the company's overall vision and product roadmap.
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of Salesforce engineering projects, managing timelines, resources, and quality standards.
  • Solution Architecture: Provide architectural guidance for Salesforce solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability across all projects.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers to translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable development plans.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and optimize engineering processes, tools, and practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders, including senior leadership, clients, and partners, providing regular updates on project progress and technical initiatives.
  • Talent Development: Participate in the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing development of engineering talent, building a high-performing Salesforce engineering team.
  • Innovation: Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, best practices, and emerging technologies, driving innovation within the engineering team.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a Salesforce development.
    • 3+ years of experience in a leadership or management position within a development environment.
    • Proven track record of successfully delivering solutions in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
    • Experience with Salesforce.com platform development, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Understanding of architecture, data modeling, and integration techniques.
    • Proficiency in modern development practices, including CI/CD, DevOps, and automated testing within the Salesforce ecosystem.
    • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
    • Experience with Enterprise Patterns
  • Leadership Skills:
    • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team of engineers.
    • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
    • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, Salesforce Certified Application Architect) are highly desirable.
