About MD Integrations

MD Integrations is a physician-founded and physician-led company that revolutionizes virtual healthcare by combining a proprietary telehealth platform with a nationwide network of board-certified MDs. Established in 2021 by Dr. Marc Serota, a quadruple board-certified physician, MD Integrations is committed to making healthcare accessible to all, regardless of location, socio-economic status, or physical ability. Our core values – accessibility, compassion, innovation, collaboration, quality, and integrity – guide our mission to align advanced technology with medical services.

Our platform supported by our extensive clinical network of specialized MDs enables direct to consumer brands, pharmacy manufacturers, and private physician practices to seamlessly provide remote care and prescription services under their own brand. Our clinicians hold various board-certified specialty designations (i.e. women’s and men’s health, obesity, dermatology), ensuring that patients have high-quality, specialized access to MDs. This approach allows MDI via our partner customers to seamlessly provide high-quality, efficient, and compassionate care, enhancing patient experiences and outcomes nationwide.

We are seeking a hands-on Controller to lead day-to-day accounting operations and elevate our financial infrastructure. You will own the monthly close process, maintain robust internal controls, lead audit and tax efforts, and drive systems improvement—especially in billing, revenue recognition, and data integration.

This role is central to the next phase of MDI’s growth: building automation into our billing/revenue subledger, reducing manual dependencies, and transitioning to a scalable, tech-forward finance function. This role reports to the SVP, Finance and is fully remote.

  • Manage consolidations, intercompany eliminations, and multi-entity compliance

Financial Reporting & Controls

  • Ensure GAAP-compliant reporting across revenue, clinician payments, and platform fees
  • Design and implement SOX-readiness controls for a private equity-backed environment
  • Serve as point person for audit, tax filings, and internal governance processes

Systems Implementation, Process Transformation & Automation

  • Help select and implement best-in-class accounting systems (e.g., ERP, billing engine, expense tools)
  • Drive automation across revenue recognition, AP, AR, and cash management
  • Partner with Data/Engineering to unify accounting data into the broader data lake and dashboards
  • Lead finance’s involvement in replacing manual invoice processing (via IES/CF360) with an integrated, scalable billing platform
  • Collaborate with Engineering, RevOps, and Customer Support to reduce manual errors, eliminate duplicate invoicing, and streamline partner experience
  • Ensure revenue subledger supports ASC 606 compliance and reconciliation with usage-based data

Cash & Treasury Management

  • Maintain a 13-week cash flow forecast; oversee clinician payment workflows
  • Administer banking relationships and ensure compliance with any reporting obligations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience; minimum 2 years leading the function
  • Experience at a high-growth, technology-enabled services business (telehealth or SaaS preferred)
  • Familiarity with ASC 606, multi-entity accounting, and audit preparation
  • Track record of process improvement, ERP implementation, or finance system transformation
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills; exposure to QuickBooks Online, Intuit Enterprise, NetSuite, or similar
