About the role

We are seeking a Team Leader – Licensing to oversee a group of licensing associates, ensuring efficient workflows, regulatory compliance, and high-quality service delivery. This role requires a hands-on leader with expertise in medical licensing and a passion for mentoring and guiding teams toward success.


Work Location & Mode:

This role is based in Hyderabad and requires the candidate to work from the office.


What you'll do

  • Team Supervision & Coaching:
    • Oversee daily tasks of licensing associates and ensure productivity and accuracy.
    • Conduct regular check-ins, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
    • Provide clear work direction and priorities to maintain an organized workflow.
  • Operational Efficiency & Compliance:
    • Ensure that all licensing applications are processed accurately and on time.
    • Monitor team SLA performance, quality scores, and compliance metrics.
    • Step in as needed to assist with licensing applications and resolve issues.
  • Stakeholder & Provider Communication:
    • Respond to provider inquiries with professionalism and clarity.
    • Escalate complex licensing issues to Managers or Senior Leadership when necessary.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of team performance and licensing updates.
  • Process Improvement & Training:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
    • Train new team members, as and when needed, on licensing workflows and best practices.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in medical licensing.
  • 1+ years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of state medical board requirements, IMLC, and NLC.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple licensing requests simultaneously
