About the role


Our Licensing Team is core to our business and is responsible for making sure licensing runs smoothly. You'll be joining a team of 60+ Licensing Specialists. This is a unique opportunity because you'll also be able to provide feedback to our R&D team to make our platform better. We're looking for optimistic self-starters, who work well individually and in a team environment, that are interested in licensing multiple provider types and helping to improve our processes along the way. This is a contract position with a timeframe of 3-6 months. Compensation for this role is between $19/hr - $27/hr depending on location and level.

What you'll do

  • Complete license applications both online and paper with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
  • Assist with primary source verifications (PSVs) can include: education, work history, license verifications etc.
  • Help resolve deficiency letters as they arise which can include but is not limited to calling a board
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to gather information and resolve issues that may arise
  • Assist in preparing license updates for clients
  • Communicate clear instructions and be responsive to providers in a timely and professional manner
  • Work with multiple teams in the licensing process to ensure licensure
  • Attend scheduled and impromptu video meetings
  • Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of full-time experience in licensing with a majority of that experience in the medical environment
  • Experience with Behavioral Health, Nursing, and Physician license types is required
  • Experience with a broad range of states, IMLC, NLC is a plus
  • Able to articulate next steps and action items required of providers
  • Conduct yourself in a professional manner when interacting with providers, Medallion clients, and Medallion staff
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong multi-tasking and context-switching skills
  • Ability to pivot and adjust in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to take and provide constructive criticism
  • Ability to manage time well in a remote position
  • Experience working at a startup is a bonus
  • Experience with DocHub, Slack, and typing speed of 70+WPM is a bonus
  • Tech-savvy
  • Maintain high efficiency, accuracy, and productivity in lulls and influxes of assignments
