About the role

We are looking for a Manager – Licensing to oversee a team of licensing professionals and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. The role requires a combination of leadership, process management, and hands-on support to maintain service quality, compliance, and efficiency. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented leader with a deep understanding of medical licensing and experience in managing teams in a high-volume environment.

Work Location & Mode:

This role is based in Hyderabad and requires the candidate to work from the office.

What you'll do

• Team Leadership & Oversight:
• • Manage and mentor a team of Team Leaders and Licensing Associates, providing guidance and support.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and training initiatives.
  • Establish work schedules and assignments to ensure service levels are met.
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training new team members to build a strong and skilled workforce 
• Operational & Compliance Management:
• • Monitor team performance and ensure compliance with licensing regulations and state medical board requirements.
  • Support team members in handling complex licensing files and resolving escalations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Stakeholder & Client Engagement:
• • Address provider and client inquiries with professionalism and clarity.
  • Prepare and present status reports and licensing updates to leadership and clients.Act as a point of escalation for licensing issues and proactively resolve concerns.
• Process Improvement & Scalability:
• • Analyze licensing pipeline and forecast workload to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
  • Support the onboarding and training of new hires to maintain a high-performing team.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and refine licensing strategies for growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in medical licensing with knowledge of MD/DO licensing.
• 3+ years of experience managing a team in a high-volume environment.
• Familiarity with state medical board regulations, IMLC, and NLC.
• Ability to effectively communicate next steps and licensing requirements to providers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a process-oriented mindset.
• Experience handling multiple license types is a plus (PharmD, OD, NP, RN, LCSW).
