POSITION SUMMARY
The Campus Administrator will serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries throughout the week, delivering exceptional customer service and connecting individuals with the appropriate staff members. We seek a candidate who can balance a task-oriented approach with strong interpersonal skills, ensuring that all responsibilities are managed efficiently while fostering positive relationships. This role requires a representative of Menlo Church who excels in person, over the phone, and via email, embodying our commitment to community engagement and support.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Recruit and equip volunteers for ministry roles within the church, recognizing their unique talents and gifts. Mentor and coach them through the leadership pipeline, providing support through one-on-one and group interactions.
Perform general administrative duties, including answering phones, managing correspondence, ordering supplies, filing documents, and coordinating calendars.
Act as the primary liaison between the Mountain View Campus and Central Team, responsible for writing and editing communication materials for the Mountain View team, including campus newsletters, signage, website content, and social media posts.
Participate in regular meetings with other Campus Administrators, collaborate on projects, share best practices, and provide mutual support.
Assist with coordinating & planning campus events and services that serve our local neighborhood.
Assist the Campus Pastor with a variety of administrative tasks, such as managing calendars, scheduling meetings & interviews, budgeting, processing invoices, and routing communications to the appropriate contacts.
Oversee the purchasing and restocking of supplies.
Ensure that church data systems are current and accurate, serving as a resource for Mountain View staff regarding PCO usage and support.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines consistently.
Foster positive working relationships by actively embodying and championing our staff values of teamwork, humility, hope, and resilience.
Take on additional duties and special projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years’ experience working in administrative field
Demonstrated project management acumen
Preferred Education and Experience
College Degree (AA or BA)
Experience in customer service field
Experience with event planning
Familiarity with Menlo Church
Ability to recruit, develop, identify, and multiply high-capacity volunteers
High Emotional Intelligence (EQ)
Strong administrative and time management skills
Proficiency with common office applications and collaboration tools, including Google Workspace, Asana, and cloud platforms
Ability to learn new software and programs
Professional written and oral communication
Basic understanding of budgets and expense reports
Project management
Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
Comfortable working with social media platforms such as FB and Instagram

The pay range for this role is:
25 - 35 USD per hour (Mountain View)
