Welcome to Meroka Careers!

Nurse Practitioner / Physician Associate (OBGYN)

✨ Who We Are

Meroka is building the future of independent medicine in the United States. We provide operations, finance, tech, and strategic support to physician-owned practices-helping them grow sustainably and with soul. This is in addition to support for physicians transitioning ownership to the employees of the business.

We believe in clear communication, practical systems, thoughtful design, and long-term thinking. Our tone is warm, grounded, and confident-but never corporate or clinical.

❌ This Role Is Not for You If…

  • You prefer a high volume, low touch environment instead of building lasting patient relationships
  • You want a corporate or hospital system role with little autonomy or ownership
  • You are uncomfortable working closely with physicians and staff in a team based practice
  • You are looking for a short term role rather than building a long term home in a practice community
  • You do not value being part of an employee ownership culture where every team member contributes to the practice’s future

✅ What You’ll Do

  • Provide comprehensive gynecologic care including preventive visits, family planning, menopause management, and routine follow up care
  • For mixed practices, contribute to obstetrical care such as prenatal visits, patient education, and postpartum support (delivery coverage depending on practice setting)
  • Partner with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to deliver coordinated, patient centered care
  • Participate in call coverage and patient follow up appropriate to scope of practice
  • Support patient education and empower individuals to take an active role in their health
  • Contribute to clinical quality initiatives, practice meetings, and service line growth projects
  • Play an active role in shaping the culture and operations of the practice as part of the employee ownership model

🧠 We’re Looking For Someone Who…

  • Is a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate with certification in the relevant jurisdiction
  • Brings experience in women’s health, gynecology, or obstetrics (new graduates with strong rotations may also be considered)
  • Values autonomy, teamwork, and long term patient relationships
  • Communicates clearly and empathetically with patients and colleagues
  • Thrives in an independent practice setting with strong physician collaboration and administrative support
  • Wants to build a long term career in a physician owned and physician led environment
  • Is excited to contribute to quality initiatives, mentoring opportunities, and innovation pilots

💰 What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation and health benefits
  • Flexible scheduling options (full time or part time)
  • Participation in an employee ownership model where every team member shares in the value they help create
  • Operational and administrative support through Meroka so you can focus on patient care
  • A practice culture that prioritizes joy in medicine, mutual respect, and long term sustainability

🌍 Additional Notes

  • This role is based at one of our partner OBGYN practices in the United States. Team members are expected to collaborate closely across clinical and administrative functions. Every member of the practice contributes where needed, and no job is above or below anyone.
