With a growing company comes a growing team full of innovative people. We’re looking for a CRM Marketing Manager to lead the development, management, execution and optimization of effective email/SMS campaigns and automations. Come join us!

What You'll Do

  • Manage email/SMS marketing comms calendar. Work with external agency to ensure that each campaign is set up, approved internally and successfully delivered against campaign requirements. 
  • Maintain internally supported email/SMS testing plans to optimize KPIs on our daily campaign sends.
  • Own briefing process. Ensure briefing templates are filled out with messaging and product details by creative versions that align with messaging strategy per campaign. Work with the
  • Project Management team to set deadlines to ensure assets/copy will be turned around and approved in time for deployment. 
  • Implement new triggered/behavioral flows to support strategic lifecycle initiatives.
  • Set up technical configurations in existing retention platforms (ex. Friendbuy, Brightback, etc) as needed per ad-hoc requests. 
  • Support cross-functional key stakeholders across Customer Insights, Merchandising and Customer Experience and other internal teams. This includes but is not limited to supporting operational sends, featuring key products in comms as needed by the business and troubleshooting data/user issues.
  • Ensure compliance around email/SMS processes. Partner with email/SMS vendors to keep up with compliance regulations and ensure compliance around permission-based marketing, privacy, spam regulation (CAN/SPAM), and deliverability.
  • Stay ahead of the curve. You will track email best practices and monitor industry trends.
  • Keep detailed documentation on email channel methodology, best practices, test results, data properties, triggered automation, etc.
  • Monitor email channel health, including updating/auditing email automation and list growth to identify and resolve any issues.
  • Partner with the Senior Director, Retention & Lifecycle to support other strategic initiatives as needed.

What You Have

  • Experience working directly in an ESP (preferably Iterable, Klaviyo and/or Attentive).
  • A solid background in creating email campaign calendars and campaign briefs, with a thorough understanding of direct-to-consumer eCommerce marketing practices.
  • Experience with email execution: updating HTML email templates and dynamic properties, QAing, hitting send and reporting.
  • Understanding of how to leverage data to trigger email/sms sends and personalize templates.
  • Fervent attention to detail. You can confidently deploy emails free of grammar, spelling, typos, and other deployment errors.
  • An understanding of email data properties, building audience segmentation, and exclusion filters. You know how to implement email personalization and dynamic content.
  • A love of continuously testing and optimizing. You will perform iterative A/B testing to continually improve performance, including developing the test, defining the KPIs, and measuring the results.
  • The ability to turn data into insights. Monitor, track, and report email/SMS marketing KPIs such as open rates, CTOR, Conversion Rates and Revenue per send to identify trends and spot opportunities quickly.
  • The ability to work both independently while working and communicating cross-functionally. Must be able to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment. 
  • You are as comfortable developing a high-level strategy as you are loading an email.
  • A growth mindset: you love feedback and have a never-ending curiosity that drives you to learn and innovate.
  • The ability to work with tight deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks as necessary
  • Strong project management skills and highly organized
  • A love of the retention marketing channels!

The base salary range for this full-time position is $95,000 -$128,000. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that the base salary range provided in this posting does not include any bonus, equity, or benefits you may be eligible for.
