In this critical role, you'll wear multiple hats. You'll be the strategist, and driving force, shaping best practices, fostering a high-performing team, and spearheading client acquisition efforts. Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategist:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive Supply Chain Planning practice for North America, leveraging internal knowledge, Miebach Global Planning Center of Excellence, industry best practices, and innovative solutions.
    • Develop the strategic roadmap and annual business plan for the North American Supply Chain Planning practice, including financial forecasting, to ensure growth and alignment with company objectives.
  • Client Champion:
    • Cultivate high-profile relationships with C-suite executives, becoming a trusted advisor and solutions provider.
    • Proactively build a strong pipeline of new business opportunities through client engagement and market insights.
    • Collaborate with clients to identify and address their unique supply chain challenges, delivering strategic solutions that enhance their operations. 
    • Identify and integrate leading-edge software technologies to optimize planning processes
  • Project Leadership:
    • Spearhead large-scale supply chain planning projects, ensuring successful execution and delivering tangible results.
    • Foster strong cross-functional collaboration to achieve alignment and ensure transparency across departments.
    • Lead and contribute to the monthly S&OP process, driving continuous improvement and optimizing demand forecasting.
  • Team Builder & Mentor:
    • Build a high-performing team of Supply Chain Planning specialists, providing mentorship and fostering a culture of learning and development.
    • Develop and curate a comprehensive knowledge base for the team, ensuring efficient knowledge transfer and expertise sharing.
 
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, business, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in Supply Chain Planning (S&OP) processes and best practices.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing cross-functional teams.
  • 10+ years of experience in S&OP, forecasting, advanced planning software, policy development, and performance tracking.
  • Strong analytical and data management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with clients and colleagues.
  • Consulting experience a plus.
  • Master's degree a plus.
