Position Overview:
As an AI Project Implementation Intern, you won’t just be supporting day-to-day tasks—you’ll play an active role in improving company-wide efficiency through AI-driven initiatives. You’ll work closely with operations, product, customer success, and engineering teams to help implement tools that streamline internal workflows and enhance the customer experience. This is an in-person role based out of our Calgary office, with an internship duration of 4–12 months.
What You'll Do:
- Improve Operational Efficiency: Assist other members of the team in implementing internal process improvements using AI-powered tools and automation
- Enable Training at Scale: Help design and implement AI-supported training tools for both customers and internal teams
- Enhance Customer Support: Support the development and rollout of tools such as chatbots or self-serve resources to help answer customer questions more efficiently
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with team members to translate business needs into practical solutions
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute as an active member of cross-functional teams focused on operations, customer experience, and product enablement
- Assist in implementing AI-driven tools to improve internal workflows and operational efficiency
- Help build and maintain training materials and systems for customers and internal staff
- Support the design, testing, and deployment of customer-facing tools such as chatbots or automated help resources
- Gather feedback from internal teams and customers to improve tools and processes
- Document workflows, processes, and tool usage clearly for internal and external audiences
- Track basic metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of new tools and process improvements
- Support change management by helping teams adopt new systems and workflows
- Follow data privacy, security, and confidentiality standards
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a degree in Business, Operations, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong interest in operations, process improvement, and using technology to drive efficiency
- Familiarity with AI tools, automation platforms, or chatbots is an asset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for healthcare innovation and improving customer and employee experiences
