MiLa is a modern Chinese food brand that crafts restaurant-quality, semi-prepared frozen Chinese foods that can be enjoyed in the comfort of your home. We deliver connection through magical meals – whether we’re transporting you to a comforting food memory in the past or capturing a brand new culinary experience for the very first time. As we expand our business from direct-to-consumer to retail, we’re looking for a full-time Influencer & Partnerships Marketing Manager with proven experience to develop and manage influencer marketing strategies that elevate brand awareness, drive engagement, and boost sales. This individual will build and nurture relationships with influencers, and content creators while working closely with internal teams to execute campaigns that align with our brand vision and goals.This role will report to the Creative Director and Head of Brand. This is a remote position, you will be required to travel once a quarter to headquarters in the Greater Seattle area.
Duties/Responsibilities
Creator Program:
Identify, engage, and cultivate relationships with influencers and content creators through product seeding across various platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok
Build out and manage a network of creators with a mix of micro and macro influencers and UGC creators that effectively delivers engagement and impressions for both paid and organic channels
Build out a scalable process & funnel to grow the influencer programs
Campaign Management:
Lead the execution of influencer marketing campaigns, from planning and influencer outreach to content approval, campaign tracking, contract negotiations and reporting
Work with influencers to ideate creative concepts and ensure content aligns with brand guidelines, marketing objectives, and key messaging while maintaining authenticity
Manage influencer marketing budgets, optimizing spend to achieve maximum ROI
Reporting & Analysis
Build out a measurable framework to track and analyze brand and paid campaign performance metrics to optimize future influencer collaborations
Stay updated on emerging trends, platform updates, and best practices in influencer marketing and social media to keep the brand relevant and competitive
Partnerships: Assist in sourcing unique and interesting brand partnerships that align with our company values
Strong understanding of different social media platforms and influencer landscapes
Deep technical knowledge of each social media platform
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Experience with influencer marketing platforms and analytics tools
Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously
Creative thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making
Relationship-oriented with strong networking skills
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
Passion for social media trends and influencer culture
Highly motivated self starter and team player
Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-pace agile environment
Education & Experience
5+ years of experience in influencer marketing
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or related field
Experience working with DTC or CPG brands
Proven track record in building out influencer marketing program
Paid social knowledge is beneficial, but not essential
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
This is a remote, work from home position
What Success Looks Like
By the end of 30 days
Re-establish relationships with existing creators and brand ambassadors
Develop a list of high profile influencers that we want to engage and build relationships with
Develop a strong product seeding list with a range of ethnicities, interests and demographics
Develop reporting framework on best way to recap insights and learnings
By the end of 60 days
Successfully seed 60+ influencers (macro & micro) a month
Work with ~30+ content creators a month to produce engaging content pieces for both MiLa’s organic social, paid influencer partnerships and UGC content
The pay range for this role is:
95,000 - 100,000 USD per year (Remote - United States)
