About the role

Mile Marker is seeking a Vice President, Media and Strategy to lead client solutions, shape business-driving consumer and media strategies, and guide teams in delivering measurable impact for our existing and prospective clients. This leader will serve as a trusted advisor to senior clients and internal stakeholders, with a strong focus on full funnel expertise that will bring big-picture thinking that connects brand and performance.  The ideal candidate thrives in a hands-on, entrepreneurial environment, and is eager to help inform both culture and business driving strategies and deliver measurable impacts across our existing portfolio.


What you'll do

  • Client & Business Leadership
  • Serve as the senior strategic partner for clients, leading business and media strategy conversations.
  • Turn client briefs into actionable strategies and executional plans that drive measurable business growth.
  • Build holistic omni-channel media strategies and plans that connect brand objectives with performance-driven outcomes with an emphasis on lower-funnel results.
  • Identify and cultivate opportunities for account expansion and agency growth playing a key role in organic and net new growth.
  • Provide thought leadership on consumer behavior, media and industry trends, cultural insights, emerging tools and platforms to inform and inspire.
  • Simultaneously lead multiple, complex engagements with key stakeholders.


Strategic Development & Delivery

  • Lead the planning process from concept through execution, ensuring alignment with client goals and market dynamics across multiple clients simultaneously.
  • Partner with media, analytics, and creative teams to deliver integrated solutions across channels.
  • Synthesis of consumer journeys to inform strategies.
  • Provide thought leadership on existing and emerging platforms, data-driven strategies, and performance optimization. 


Team Leadership & Growth

  • Mentor and inspire a team of media professionals, setting a high bar for strategic excellence and delivery.
  • Establish best practices and frameworks for client engagement, campaign development, and performance measurement.
  • Familiarity to coach teams on the platform capabilities.
  • Foster a collaborative culture that balances creativity, accountability, and results.
  • Partner with the Growth team in new business development by shaping proposals, supporting agency positioning, and presenting strategic thinking and media strategies and plans.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in media, advertising, or marketing, with proven expertise in full funnel strategy and execution.
  • Strong expertise in media planning, omnichannel campaigns, or brand strategy; CPG, OTC and healthcare vertical knowledge a plus.
  • Track record of leading multimillion-dollar client relationships and driving business growth.
  • Hands-on experience with media channels including TV, OOH, Digital Display, Digital Video, Paid Social, Programmatic.
  • Retail media experience a plus.
  • Strong strategic acumen with the ability to connect client business challenges to actionable media solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with executive presence in front of C-level audiences.
  • Experienced people leader who can develop talent and build high-performing teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment while balancing big-picture vision with executional detail.

The pay range for this role is:

170,000 - 180,000 USD per year (Hybrid (New York, New York, US))
