The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Accountant to manage day-to-day financial transactions, support month-end processes, and ensure accuracy in financial records.

The expected start date for this role is March 2025

The salary range for this position is $60,000-65,000

What You'll Do

• Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Process purchase orders and support the sales team with renewal contracts.
• Ensure timely payment of bills and maintain accurate records for accounts payable.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Reconcile monthly bank statements to ensure financial accuracy.
• Support payroll processing as needed.
• Perform ad-hoc administrative and reporting tasks as they arise.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and procedures.
• Assist with tax compliance and state filings.

Your Qualifications

• 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience (preferred).
• Experience with QuickBooks is an asset.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets and financial reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
