The Role

This role is full time, Monday - Friday. We are a hybrid work environment with 3 days a week in the office (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday) with optional remote days (Wednesday, Friday). You will need to be located in the Kelowna area and be able to reliably commute into the office downtown Kelowna in the Innovation Center.
The expected start date for this role is March 2025.
The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000
What you'll do
As a vital member of the Marketing team, you'll play a key role as a Content Marketing Strategist . You will be responsible for the following areas:
Content Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that supports both brand awareness and demand generation goals
- Create and maintain an editorial calendar aligned with product launches, industry seasonality, and campaign initiatives
- Map content to buyer journey stages, ensuring appropriate coverage across awareness, consideration, and decision phases
- Establish content measurement frameworks to track performance against pipeline and engagement metrics
- Understand and recommend the role of various content formats (video, social, blogs, white papers, case studies) and how to get maximum utility across channels
Demand Generation
- Write and produce high-converting content for demand generation campaigns, including whitepapers, ebooks, webinars, and case studies
- Develop lead magnets and gated content that generates qualified leads for sales team
- Help email team with copy writing and content for sequences that move prospects through the sales funnel
- Collaborate with demand gen and SEO owners on paid and organic content distribution strategies
- Track and optimize content performance based on conversion metrics and pipeline impact
Brand Content & Thought Leadership
- Own Minga's brand voice and ensure consistency across all content
- Develop thought leadership pieces that position Minga as an authority in education technology
- Manage company blog, including topic ideation, writing, and guest contributor program
- Create engaging social media content that builds community and drives engagement
- Develop customer stories and testimonials that showcase product impact
Educational Content Development
- Create content that demonstrates deep understanding of educator pain points and challenges
- Develop educational resources and best practice guides that provide value to our target audience
- Write content that addresses specific needs of different education segments (K-12, higher ed, districts) and audiences (administrators, teachers, district superintendents)
- Stay current on education trends and incorporate relevant insights into content strategy
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with Product Marketing to align content with product messaging and go-to-market strategies
- Work with sales team to develop content that addresses common customer questions and objections
- Collaborate with design team to create visually compelling content formats
- Support PR initiatives with ghostwritten articles and speaking proposals
Your Qualifications
- This role requires 2+ years of content strategy, copywriting, and marketing experience, including hands-on execution across various channels (video, web, email, social media, case studies, white papers, webinars).
- Bonus points for experience in education, edtech, or local government, or similar sectors where storytelling and content-driven strategies are key.
- A stellar track record of creating high-impact content that drives engagement and business results, with a demonstrated ability to manage and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Proven success in conducting Voice of Customer (VoC) research, customer interviews, and creating compelling case studies that showcase customer success.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (sales, product, CX) to align content strategies with broader business objectives.
