About The Role

Mission Underwriters is a fast-growing portfolio company managing over 20 brands across diverse industry segments. With rapid growth and an increasing number of marketing objectives, we are seeking a Marketing Operations Manager to streamline execution, optimize workflows, and maximize marketing efficiency across our brands. 

The Marketing Operations Manager will ensure smooth execution, automation, and data-driven decision-making. This person will implement scalable processes, manage internal and external marketing resources, and ensure that our marketing initiatives drive measurable results.

You’ll work alongside a team who values efficiency, automation, and impact, and have the opportunity to build scalable marketing systems from the ground up. 

What You'll Do

 Marketing Workflow & Project Management 

  • Manage a centralized marketing request system to intake, prioritize, and execute marketing initiatives across all brands. 
  • Oversee and optimize marketing workflows using Monday.com and Sprout Social to track deliverables. 
  • Partner with the Marketing VP to prioritize high-impact projects and allocate resources efficiently.  

Marketing Automation & Tech Stack Management 

  • Own and optimize marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce, or similar) to drive campaign efficiency. 
  • Implement tools to enhance content creation, email marketing, and campaign management. 
  • Manage CRM, email automation, and analytics dashboards to track and report performance across brands.  

Resource & Vendor Management 

  • Oversee and coordinate freelancers, agencies, and contractors to scale execution without increasing headcount. 
  • Maintain a network of content creators, designers, and paid media experts to support marketing efforts. 

Performance Tracking & Reporting 

  • Define and track key marketing KPIs (lead generation, campaign performance, ROI, and engagement metrics). 
  • Develop dashboards and reports to provide insights to leadership and optimize marketing spend. 

Process Development & Standardization 

  • Create SOPs, templates, and playbooks to ensure consistency and scalability across marketing efforts. 
  • Improve collaboration between internal teams and external marketing partners.  

Qualifications 

  • 5+ years of experience in the P&C insurance space 
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, growth marketing, or demand generation. 
  • Strong expertise in marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, Salesforce, etc.). 
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders across different brands. 
  • Experience working with freelancers, agencies, and cross-functional teams. 
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset. 
  • Excellent project management skills with experience using project management software. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with competing priorities. 

Preferred Qualifications    

  • Experience in a multi-brand or portfolio company. 
  • Knowledge of AI tools for marketing automation. 
  • Background in B2B and B2C marketing. 
  • Experience using Monday.com and Sprout Social

This is a remote position. Planned, in-office activities may be required on occasion (typically 2-4x per year).
