About The Role

The Data Product Owner will lead Mission’s overall Data Product Vision and Strategy to support all Mission’s internal and third-party applications. You role will bridge between the business, systems, and data to maximize value and data insights to the organization.


Only candidates with P&C Data Governance experience will be considered.


What You'll Do

·        Establish a Data Product Vision and Strategy to align with business objectives

·         Manage the Data Product Lifecycle

·         Establish and ensure adherence to data Governance and Compliance

·         Work collaboratively with business teams and stakeholders both internally and externally

·         Coordinate with data engineers and analysts

·         Define Data Product Roadmap

·         Backlog management and execution

·         Measure and Optimize Data Product Performance

 

Required Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) or equivalent from an accredited four-year college in computer science, information science, information technology, or a related field.

·         3+ years of related experience in data product management and experience owning the data warehouse and data roadmap within an insurance organization.

·         3+ years of experience in the P&C insurance industry and regulatory environment.

·         3+ years of data and analytics (SQL, BI Tool, data modeling)

·         Ability to travel up to 10% of the year.

·         Self-driven and ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced and evolving environment.


Preferred Qualifications

·         Familiarity or knowledge of Low Code/No Code SaaS solutions within the P&C industry.

·         Master’s degree in data, technology, or related field.

·         Various development methods inclusive of Agile and Kanban

This is a remote position. Planned, in-office activities may be required on occasion (typically 2-4x per year).
