Senior Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Momentum Behavior Services provides high-quality, evidence-based services to children, adolescents, and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Momentum Behavior Services is looking for an experienced Senior Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our Rochester, MN team! This position is for those that are strongly committed to building and maintaining a new autism service program and committed to providing quality behavior analytic programming. This position is remote eligible and must live in Minnesota. Monthly travel to Austin and Rochester, MN.


Responsibilities:


  • Maintain the billable expectations for the region providing direct services to clients or indirect services such as supervision, caregiver training, or program development
  • Supervises individualized programs for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders, ages 6 months and older, in natural settings- primarily in-home, but additionally out in the community, in the schools, and within other peer-group social contexts
  • Provides clinical supervision and work direction to treatment teams to include skills enhancement, clinical consultation, and professional development
  • Conducts initial assessment and writes assessment reports to include a recommendation for treatment and supervision hours
  • Assures clients receive interventions to meet the full extent of the services authorized; adjusts staffing of treatment team as appropriate to meet the needs of the client
  • Observe and assess client skills and progress to inform recommendations for ongoing intervention and behavioral programming
  • Create and lead implementation of Behavior Support Plans as appropriate
  • Collaborate with additional service providers on the client’s support team to ensure comprehensive service delivery
  • Address program delivery with families; including parent coaching, challenges with teaching, parent participation, and work environment as necessary
  • Review progress reports and treatments plans, ensuring that they meet the requirements of regulatory agencies and funding sources and are clinically accurate and appropriate
  • Attend and support the Case Supervisor in progress and treatment plan review meetings with families
  • Safety Care Training: Conduct monthly Safety Care training sessions, equipping staff with the skills needed to safely manage and de-escalate challenging behaviors
  • Maintain certifications to lead Safety Care training sessions and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements
  • Provide ongoing trainings to RBT, CS, and CDs
  • Participate in recruitment, interviewing, selection, and onboarding of clinical staff
  • Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for RBTs, Case Supervisors, and Clinical Directors to ensure adherence to ABA best practices and organizational standards
  • Help with clinical training for onboarding new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles
  • Provide regular performance feedback to Case Supervisors supervised related to their strengths and areas for improvement, work with Behavioral Technicians to set goals for professional development
  • Lead staff meetings with RCD support and ensure all policies and procedures are communicated to and understood by clinical teams supervised.

Qualifications:

  • BCBA Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Required
  • State licensure (where applicable)
  • A Master’s degree in special education, psychology, or related field, with specialized knowledge of behavioral health and treatment philosophies and professional practices
  • Able to provide supervision to other BCBA candidates and RBTs
  • Three years or more providing ABA treatment to individuals with ASD
  • Experience working in the human service field and with high intensity target behaviors
  • Requires strong analysis, judgment, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written
