Job Summary

  • Seeking an experienced Systems Engineer/Integrator to provide technical leadership and integration expertise in support of mission-critical systems
  • The ideal candidate will be proficient in data management, systems compliance, and end-to-end systems engineering processes
  • This role requires strong collaboration skills, a proven ability to integrate complex technical solutions, and expertise in ensuring compliance with government and industry standards

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead systems engineering and integration efforts across multiple programs, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and mission requirements
  • Analyze system requirements and develop specifications for integration, testing, and compliance verification
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, program managers, and technical teams to align system design with business and compliance objectives
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including interface control documents (ICDs), requirements traceability, and system design artifacts
  • Ensure compliance with security, data governance, and regulatory requirements (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP, RMF)
  • Oversee system validation, verification, and acceptance testing activities
  • Provide guidance on data architecture, interoperability, and information assurance considerations.
  • Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and support decision-making for system enhancements and integrations
  • Serve as a technical liaison between engineering teams, customers, and external partners

Required Qualifications

  • Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 10–15 years of progressive experience in systems engineering and integration for large, complex IT or mission systems
  • Strong knowledge of systems engineering processes (requirements management, integration, verification/validation)
  • Proficiency in data management, compliance frameworks, and governance standards
  • Experience with compliance-driven environments
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, enterprise IT systems, and data integration technologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to brief technical and non-technical stakeholders

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Agile or DevSecOps environments
  • Knowledge of enterprise data platforms, compliance automation tools, and integration frameworks

Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

The pay range for this role is:

170,000 - 235,000 USD per year (AJ6)
