Monjur, Inc.

Head of Accounting

____________________________________________

About the role

As an employee at Monjur, you will help scale the Contract Intelligence platform MSPs trust.

Your work supports our core mission: making legal systematic, current, and attorney-supervised for managed service providers across the United States and Canada.

You will collaborate with attorneys, product leaders, customer success, and growth teams to ensure our platform delivers clear standards, consistent protections, and seamless integration into the tools MSPs rely on every day.

This is a high-impact role in a focused, growth-stage company. The systems you help build will directly influence how hundreds of MSPs protect revenue, reduce legal exposure, and operate with confidence.

We value clarity. We value ownership. We value people who finish what they start.

As our Head of Accounting, you will own day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting for a fast-growing, tech-enabled legal services business, partnering closely with leadership to build scalable processes that match our AI-driven, cloud-first platform. You will support a legal-service environment in the SaaS space, with subscription revenue, flat-fee legal services, and compliance-driven offerings like Policies-as-a-Service and AI-enabled legal infrastructure.

What you’ll do

  1. Lead all core accounting operations, including general ledger, AR, AP, payroll, and month-end close, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting for a subscription and services-based SaaS legal business.
  2. Manage revenue accounting for recurring contracts, subscription plans, and flat-fee legal service offerings, ensuring appropriate recognition policies aligned to Contracts-as-a-Service and Policies-as-a-Service products.
  3. Oversee billing and collections processes for client subscriptions, including coordination with any AI-enabled collections and AR automation tools that support Monjur’s legal and compliance services.
  4. Partner with leadership to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, dashboards, and metrics relevant to SaaS and legal operations (MRR/ARR, churn, billings, cash flow, and gross margin).
  5. Coordinate with external tax, audit, and legal advisors as needed, ensuring compliance with relevant tax and reporting requirements for a U.S.-based, tech-enabled legal services company.
  6. Support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling for new offerings such as AI-driven legal infrastructure, managed AI libraries, and privacy/security compliance libraries.
  7. Monitor and report on cost structure, vendor spend, and margin impact related to cloud infrastructure, integrations (e.g., PSA and quoting tools), and legal service delivery.
  8. Ensure client and vendor data is handled in a manner that supports privacy, security, and compliance expectations tied to frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, GLBA, CMMC, and state privacy laws.
  9. Serve as a trusted partner to the CEO, legal leadership, and operations teams, translating financial data into actionable insights and helping drive strategic decisions in a high-growth environment.

About Monjur, Inc.

Monjur is the Contract Intelligence platform built exclusively for Managed Service Providers (MSPs).

For more than two decades, our team of MSP attorneys has helped service providers structure, negotiate, and enforce the contracts that define their customer relationships.

Today, that experience powers Monjur Pilot — our AI legal assistant — which helps MSP teams answer contract questions, redline agreements, and manage negotiations without waiting for outside counsel.

Unlike generic AI tools that rely on internet data, Pilot is grounded in Monjur’s proprietary legal knowledge base and supervised by licensed MSP attorneys. The result is a system that gives MSPs the speed of AI while maintaining the legal oversight required for real contractual decisions.

Instead of static templates or one-time legal engagements, Monjur provides an ongoing legal system that evolves with our clients’ businesses.

Our platform includes:

• MSP-specific contract standards

• Attorney-supervised legal guidance and updates

• A centralized Legal Knowledge Base

• Smart integrations with ConnectWise, Autotask, HaloPSA, Kaseya, and Microsoft

• Pilot, Monjur’s AI legal assistant

Today, more than 950 MSPs rely on Monjur to standardize their agreements, reduce legal uncertainty, and move faster during sales and negotiations.

Monjur exists for one reason:

To help MSP leaders sleep better at night knowing their legal foundation is taken care of.

We are a growing team of attorneys, operators, and technologists building the legal infrastructure that MSPs rely on to scale with confidence.

If you are excited about combining AI, legal expertise, and industry-specific software to solve real operational problems, you will feel at home at Monjur.
