What You'll Do At Grey


You will work to ensure a safe and quality project to deliver an exceptional building for our clients. Below, you will find some of the duties that you will perform:

  • Oversee Drywall and Framing Operations: Manage and supervise the installation of drywall, metal stud framing, and related systems, ensuring all work meets project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Ensure Safety Compliance: Enforce site safety protocols and OSHA regulations, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment for all team members.
  • Monitor Quality Control: Perform inspections and quality checks, ensuring work is completed to industry standards and project requirements.
  • Manage Crew and Resources: Supervise and direct the activities of drywall and framing crews, providing guidance, training, and resolving any personnel or project-related issues. Track labor, material usage, and equipment needs to stay within budget and schedule.

Experience You Should Have

  • Managing Trades: Strong experience in supervising and managing subcontractors, ensuring they follow schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols. Good leadership ensures that all trades work cohesively and efficiently.
  • Team Leadership: Experience leading a team of workers, providing training, guidance, and motivation to ensure optimal performance. This also includes resolving conflicts or addressing issues among team members.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to identify and resolve quality issues on-site quickly and effectively, ensuring the work meets the highest standards.
  • Coordinate Construction Activities: Collaborate with other trades, contractors, and project managers to schedule and coordinate activities, ensuring timely delivery of materials and completion of work according to the project timeline.

The pay range for this role is:

70,000 - 90,000 USD per year (Grey Interiors Raleigh)
