What You'll Do At Monteith

The Project Accountant works with project teams to fulfill the project accounting and cost-reporting requirements of commercial construction projects around the area.

  • With project team, work to manage overall costs as they relate to the budget
  • Assist in trade partner payables as well as manage accounts receivable
  • Administer and control General Conditions costs and review purchase orders and check requests
  • Assist project teams with monthly job cost analysis and forecasts
  • Analyze revenue and profitability of each project
  • Obtain and maintain new credit accounts for material suppliers
  • Maintain accounts with utility providers for project teams
  • Gather sales tax-related cost for each project and facilitate recording and reporting

Experience You Should Have

  • A degree in accounting, business, or finance or relevant industry experience
  • Experience in Construction Accounting preferred
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Experience with Dexter Chaney/ Spectrum Viewpoint preferred

The pay range for this role is:

65,000 - 85,000 USD per year (Monteith Wilmington)
