We're looking for a Senior Marketing Operations Specialist who can do more than pull reports and manage tools. You’ll be the engine behind our marketing infrastructure, ensuring our tech stack is fully integrated, our data is clean, our reporting is actionable, and our funnel flows friction-free from first touch to closed-won.
This role is equal parts builder, executor, analyst, and coach. Ideal for someone who thrives on turning complexity into clarity and believes that smart operations are the key to real marketing ROI.
You will work directly with the Marketing and Revenue Operations team. Sitting between both teams as a key individual contributor, owning Marketing Operations and back up for Salesforce Admin when needed.
Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) expertise is a must.
What You’ll Own and Drive
1. Tech Stack & Integration
- Own and manage Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) — including setup, segmentation, automation, and reporting
- Partner with our Salesforce Admin, Sales Enablement and Revenue Operations Manager to align marketing workflows and ensure seamless data integration
- Collaborate with our Marketing in-house team and partners such as Demand Generation team, Digital Marketer, WordPress Developer and Designer to connect campaigns, workflows and lead capture forms
- Maintain and optimize integrations, as well as adoption, of tools like DreamData, Google Suite, Gong and others (open to your suggestions)
- Audit and clean up the marketing tech stack, removing inefficiencies and closing data gaps
- Champion data hygiene — enforce standards for contact data, imports, campaign tagging, attribution, and recycled lead programs
- Partner with Demand Gen to uphold and improve funnel processes (Top, Middle, Bottom)
2. Reporting & Visibility
- Build and maintain centralized Pardot reports and Salesforce dashboards for:
- Funnel stages (Unknown → MAL → MQL → SAL → SQL) by channel
- Lead velocity and lead response time
- Marketing activity and engagement trends for individual contributors
- Tradeshow and event ROI, tied to pipeline and revenue
- Account-Based Marketing (ABM) program tracking and reporting
- Drive visibility into marketing efficiency, including:
- Cost per lead / MAL / MQL
- Marketing contribution to pipeline and revenue
- Performance and efficiency by channel and program
3. Lead Management, Lead Scoring & Sales Handoff
- Redesign and manage lead scoring, leveraging Einstein AI or similar tools
- Audit lead handoff and follow-up with Sales, identify what’s working and where we’re losing leads
- Define and maintain SLAs for Marketing → BDR → Sales transitions
- Manage prospects to lead/contact sync between Pardot and Salesforce
- Support building landing pages, forms, engagement studios, list segmentation, campaign tracking set-up for your marketing team members
4. Enablement & Coaching
- Train and coach Sales and Marketing team members on Pardot and Salesforce best practices
- Translate marketing campaign goals into operational workflows that drive action
- Help create and maintain persona-based engagement tracks and dynamic content workflows
5. Strategic Insight & Optimization
- Analyze patterns, uncover trends, and make data-driven recommendations
- Identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies and work cross-functionally to resolve them
- Connect marketing spend to impact — drive ROI-based planning and budgeting
What You Bring
- 3+ years in Marketing Operations, Revenue Operations, or related roles
- Hands-on expertise with Salesforce and Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot ), certifications a plus
- Experience with WordPress, DreamData, Google Analytics/GTM, and other MarTech tools
- Proven track record of building reporting infrastructure, improving funnel performance, and coaching teams on systems and workflows
- A mindset that blends systems thinking with practical execution
- A bias for action: you don’t wait to be told what’s broken; you find it and fix it
Compensation
The range for this role is CAD$90-120k depending on experience/acumen and Softmax Data benefits include:
