We are currently looking to expand our pool support team members, with a particular need for individuals who have prior military experience or a strong background in supporting military service members and their families. As a Lead Financial Success Coordinator (Lead FSC), you will help members identify the most pressing financial concerns, explore best resources & services, quickly and accurately capture key information, and schedule member consultations with our licensed financial counselors, as well as guide, mentor, and support a team of Financial Success Coordinators in delivering an exceptional first impression to our members as they begin their journey toward financial wellness. In addition to your own direct member engagement responsibilities, you will provide oversight, ensure quality, and contribute to team development.

About the role
Lead FSCs are both hands-on contributors and inspirational team leads. In this dual-impact role, you will:

  • Support new and existing FSCs with training, coaching, and quality feedback
  • Monitor call quality, service levels, and team performance metrics
  • Serve as the first point of escalation for complex calls or concerns
  • Maintain a high standard of service through peer audits, coaching sessions, and process refinement
  • Collaborate with supervisors and cross-functional teams to improve workflows and ensure team alignment
  • Schedule and lead regular team huddles to reinforce goals, share insights, and boost morale
  • Demonstrate exemplary service standards in your own FSC duties: engaging members, identifying financial needs, providing clarity, and connecting them with licensed counselors

What you bring to the table 

  • A calm, confident presence with the ability to inspire and guide others
  • Proven ability to create a supportive, respectful, and high-accountability team environment
  • Excellent judgment and decision-making skills
  • You excel at simplifying concepts like eligibility and benefits, and have the ability to provide constructive coaching and mentorship
  • Strong understanding of FSC tools, processes, and expectations, including but not limited to leading others to voice their most pressing concerns, quickly and accurately capture key data, and are skilled at navigating calendar scheduling
  • A passion for improving team outcomes and delivering high-quality member support
  • You are fluent in English and Spanish (preferred)

We’d love it if you have the following:

  • A 2-year college degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of customer service or call center experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership, training, or mentorship role
  • Demonstrated experience coaching or mentoring peers with a passion for assisting people in need; flexible, empathetic, and an excellent team worker with the ability to de-escalate difficult situations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including documentation and reporting
  • A strong sense of empathy, integrity, and team spirit
  • Familiarity with metrics, KPIs, and service-level goals
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
  • Previous military service or experience working with military populations a plus
  • Excellent computer skills, including typing ability of 35 - 40 wpm minimum
  • U.S. Citizenship (due to contract requirements)
  • Flexible and available to work a 5-days a week, varied schedule, from Monday to Saturday between 4:00 am and 7:00 pm PT - Saturday availability may be reduced and rotating.
