About the role
We're seeking a dynamic Director of Sales to lead, motivate, and drive success for our high-performing Core sales team of 6–8 outside sales executives. In this role, you'll guide your team in prospecting, closing, expanding, and retaining key client partnerships by delivering data-driven, omni-channel advertising solutions that reach target audiences and surpass growth objectives.
The ideal candidate brings a strong track record of leading successful consultative sales teams and selling complex B2B solutions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
What you'll do...
- Lead strategy, performance, and execution as part of the Core Sales leadership team.
- Set and manage team/individual growth plans, goals, and revenue targets.
- Coach sellers on account strategy to win new and expand existing business.
- Build a culture of curiosity, competitiveness, and consistent learning.
- Keep the team informed on emerging trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Foster strong relationships with top clients and internal partners.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure client success and satisfaction.
- Develop talent through ongoing coaching, development, and recruiting.
- Champion Mspark’s Leadership Tenets: Communication, Decision-Making, Leading by Example, and Driving Results.
- Deliver clear expectations, measurable KPIs, and consistent performance management.
- Provide regular pipeline updates, forecasts, and growth gap plans to leadership.
- Partner closely with Customer Experience leaders to drive seamless collaboration.
- Serve as a strategic resource and problem-solver for team challenges.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Demonstrated success in business development and client retention, with a strong ability to identify new opportunities, build lasting relationships, and drive revenue growth.
- Skilled in managing remote teams and fostering a strong, cohesive virtual culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 5 years of B2B sales and leadership experience, with a strong preference for experience in digital, print, media, marketing, or advertising.
- Technologically savvy and skilled in tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and other sales tools.
