Reporting Associate

About the role


As a Reporting Associate, you will support the Targeting Specialist in developing, maintaining, and enhancing business intelligence solutions. This role focuses on data analysis, visualization, and reporting to empower stakeholders with actionable insights. Ideal candidates will bring strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate data into meaningful narratives.


This position is remote; However, preference may be given to candidates living within the Eastern and Central Time Zones.


What you'll do


Data Management and Analysis:

  • Develop and maintain SQL queries to extract, clean, and analyze data for reporting.
  • Familiarity with First-Party and Third-Party Data ETL processes from a marketing perspective, especially those in the print ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with teams to evaluate and load attribution analysis data into response database datasets.
  • Support data quality assurance processes, including QC weekly and billing reports.

Reporting and Visualization:

  • Build and enhance dashboards and visualizations using Domo and Tableau to support business goals.
  • Maintain regular reporting schedules, including monthly match-back SQL processes and end-of-month (EOM) reporting for key clients.

Project Management:

  • Assist in onboarding new brands, including managing access rights for reporting platforms.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of response database dashboards to reflect relevant data views.
  • Support ad hoc projects and analyses as required by the Reporting Manager.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Desired Skills/Experience:

  • Experience with MySQL (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Domo or Tableau, with a strong understanding of BI tools (preferred).
  • Familiarity with R and/or Python (preferred).
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Intellectually curious with the desire to learn about advertising and the broader marketing landscape.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 1-3 year’s related experience in marketing, advertising, or similar industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (required).
  • Proven experience and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas (required).
