National Account Manager

About the role

The National Account Manager will work side-by side with the National Account Director and report to the VP of Strategic Sales. This role will support the National Account Director with their day-to-day account operations and activities. This individual will provide exemplary customer service and will gain a deep knowledge of Mspark Media’s product suite while working to build rapport with internal and external clients and stakeholders.


What you'll do

  • Support the National Account Director(s) with day-to-day account operations and activities, such as updating CRM, project management, client-communication(s) and strategy, etc.
  • Support the introduction of new products, services, and cutting-edge strategies to help clients achieve their goals.
  • Responds to various communication correspondence in a timely and professional manner to internal and external request.
  • Utilizes strong communication skills to build rapport with cross-functional partners and external clients to provide exemplary customer service.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with other departments (Customer Experience, Creative Services, Marketing, etc.) to identify ways to provide exceptional experiences and customer satisfaction.
  • Updates and maintains real time information in CRM to manage day to day activities that drives successful business outcomes and accurate client documentation.
  • Utilizes technology to prepare internal and external data, market trends, reports, presentations, etc.
  • Creates and maintains a communication plan to consistently engage clients to ensure satisfaction and client retention efforts.
  • Researches and utilizes various educational outlets to continuously learn about new products, industry trends, and innovative approaches to become and maintain a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and trusted advisor for internal and external clients.
  • Continuously learn about Mspark Media’s deep product catalogue and research client information to gain understanding of the clients’ business and Mspark Media’s product suite.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Experience with project management and/or account management with a proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven experience working independently and collaboratively with exceptional time management skills keeping deliverables and project deadlines priority.
  • Proven leader with a high level of business acumen, always focusing on the customer, with an ability to analyze data and drive insights to facilitate decisions.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Competitive, resilient, and intellectually curious, with established success of finding creative and innovative ways to problem solve client objections, conduct market research, provide insight and recommendations into sales strategy, etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of proven success in a high-performance sales environment, focusing on enterprise-level clients and strategic partnerships. Experience in advertising, marketing, or media is a plus.
  • Tech savvy and highly proficient utilizing tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and other sales tools.
  • Experience and skilled at presenting to key stakeholders (C-Suite, Senior Level Leaders, etc.) showcasing elite presentation skills and a keen since of timing with the confidence to influence decision making.
