Interviewer:

How will you continuously improve this critical infrastructure platform in ways that improve efficiency and visibility of key information across our company?


Salesforce Admin:

I will immerse myself in the myKaarma Production System (MPS) and learn how to execute change using this system. It is my understanding that MPS is based on the Toyota Production System (TPS). One of the first things I will do is live the customer-focusedI understand core value and practice Genchi Genbutsu. I will ask to join a few training sessions for our Dealers and also staff the support phone lines for some time till I feel I understand why our end-customers buy our products and why they are so loyal. I fundamentally believe that once I have a good understanding of how we improve the operations of our customers and how we operate as an organization, I will be well positioned to help us continuously improve.


Role Description:

We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform who can grasp both our current setup and our business objectives to quickly identify areas of improvement. The individual will be responsible for optimizing our Salesforce as needed to promote growth and development, as well as handle day-to-day administrative functions to ensure smooth operation across the company. The successful candidate must have the ability to solve problems and act as a Salesforce "guru" to all those who use it.


The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for the following:

  • Maintain a holistic view of all business processes and users in the system to understand cross-functional impacts with regard to configuration, process, workflow, and reporting.
  • Handle all basic administrative functions including user maintenance, modification of page layouts, generation of reports and dashboards, creation of new fields and other routine tasks.
  • Gather detailed requests for improvements or changes to the system and implement these changes as appropriate
  • Automate processes using Salesforce tools such as process builder, flow automation, vand alidation rules.
  • Manage and support Salesforce integrations
  • Identify, install and maintain appropriate apps from the AppExchange for event management, mass email, document merge, and more.
  • Stay current with the development and release of Salesforce’s capability roadmap and how best to use new features to solve myKaarma’s business challenges.
  • Document customizations made in Salesforce.
  • Handle ticket requests through a queue and be able to prioritize what you're working on to minimize escalations
  • Create and administer training to existing or new users/groups and provide one-to-one training to end users on an on‐going basis.
  • Create new reporting capabilities and respond to ad hoc reporting requests as needed.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong Salesforce product knowledge and at least 3-5 years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce configuration, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and web services.
  • Demonstrated track record of exercising independent judgment on small and medium-sized projects and/or leading key components of larger projects
  • Passionate about the use of data and technology to achieve positive business outcomes


Requirements

Must work at least 6 hours overlapping with US working hours M, T, TH

Travel required to US 1 or 2 times per year
