We are looking for a Sales Manager
MyPlanAdvocate is currently hiring for a high-performing Sales Manager to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those to plans to the upper management. As part of our team of highly trained professionals, you will manage a team of Medicare Agents, and guide their success. We massively value our managers, as we understand how massively they impact our agents.
Responsibilities
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Medicare sales agents to achieve and exceed sales goals.
- Foster a positive and productive team environment based on collaboration, mutual respect, and continuous learning.
- Continue to work on training and development to enhance team skills and knowledge while collaborating with our training department.
- Sales Strategy and Growth:
- Analyze market trends and develop strategic initiatives to maximize sales across Medicare product lines.
- Implement and monitor sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous growth.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop and execute targeted promotional campaigns.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure strict adherence to all applicable Medicare regulations and compliance requirements.
- Maintain exceptional service levels and metrics for both inbound and outbound calls.
- Conduct regular quality assurance checks and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Performance Measurement and Innovation:
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track team progress and identify areas for optimization.
- Continuously analyze and improve call center operations and workflow processes.
- Develop and implement innovative programs and initiatives to enhance sales effectiveness and efficiency.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Support the development of programs to achieve company objectives and close ratio expectations.
- Generate daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly reports to track team performance and sales metrics.
- Participate in company retreats, meetings, and local job fairs as required.
What you’ll bring!
- BS degree in business administration or a related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in the insurance industry, including 2 years in a managerial role
- Active and valid Life and Health license
- Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Strong business sense and industry expertise
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
- Self-starter who is highly motivated

- Ability to keep all company-sensitive data secure.
- Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privately without disruption.
- Must live in a location that can receive a high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service.
