Temp Cares Advocate


Position Overview
The Temp Retention Advocate plays a critical role in supporting members after their enrollment to ensure a smooth transition into their chosen plan and to promote long-term retention. This temporary role runs from October 6th through December 7th and focuses on benefits activation, health risk assessments, and other post-sale engagement activities that improve member satisfaction, compliance, and overall health outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Benefits Activation
    • Verify that members have chosen to enroll in their selected plan.
    • Confirm that prescribed medications and primary care providers are included in the plan’s network.
    • Complete health risk assessments as provided by the carrier.
    • Assist members in setting up their pharmacy benefits and mail-order delivery.
    • Schedule annual wellness reviews or in-home visits to promote preventive care.
  • Health Risk Assessment (HRA)
    • Conduct structured calls using carrier-provided questionnaires.
    • Accurately document member responses to assess risk factors and potential care needs.
    • Provide a supportive and empathetic experience for members while collecting sensitive health information.
  • Mail Order Pharmacy
    • Guide members through the setup process for their mail order pharmacy benefit.
    • Ensure timely delivery of medications upon plan effectuation.
    • Educate members on the benefits and convenience of utilizing mail order pharmacy services.
  • Post-Sale Engagement
    • Support additional post-enrollment activities as deemed necessary by the company to ensure member satisfaction, compliance, and retention.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of all interactions in company systems.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust over the phone.
  • Experience in customer service, healthcare, or insurance industry preferred.
  • Ability to follow structured processes while maintaining empathy and professionalism.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working with confidential health information (HIPAA knowledge a plus).

  • Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience

The pay range for this role is:

17 - 17 USD per week (Remote)
