Role Overview

Mytra’s Program Management Office is looking for collaborative, high energy Program Managers to own the design, test, and NPI launch of our robot and AI-powered autonomous material flow systems.


Mytra’s Engineering team is looking for a dynamic and collaborative Senior Technical Program Manager to lead our product development, validation, and launch for our robot and AI-powered autonomous material flow systems.

As a Technical Program Manager you’ll drive development of cutting edge robotics and automation systems. You’ll collaborate with hardware, software, firmware, AI and robotics engineers to develop and validate our products, as well as with manufacturing and supply chain to deliver and scale the design into production. You’ll own the overall program and drive results across a cross-functional team. This role requires high agency and cross-functional leadership, comfort with multiple technical domains and their development processes, as well as the ability to drive complex systems from concept through to scale. 


This role requires on-site presence at our Brisbane, CA headquarters, for close collaboration with the other teams. 


Responsibilities:

  • Create the timeline and develop program plans for design, builds, and validation testing of our robot and autonomous systems
  • Managing the full project lifecycle of product development, improving efficiency, removing roadblocks, and attaining programs’ goals.
  • Collaborating and communicating with leadership, internal engineering, and external design resources to drive execution and retire risks early.
  • Initiate and implement processes to ensure efficient deployment of resources. 

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of experience in technical program management or related role, leading full development lifecycle (definition, proto, EVT, DVT, PVT, MP) for integrated hardware products
  • Experience planning and managing schedules, budgets, resources
  • Experience and process for identifying, managing, and retiring technical risk 
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams, communicating results to senior leadership, and driving programs’ success

Preferred Qualifications:


  • You’re very comfortable developing timelines and driving programs execution, and have proven experience launching multiple products.
  • You are excited about working on maturing products, growing, and shaping the future of the company.
  • You’re familiar with Smartsheets, Notion, Jira, Asana or any other task/project management platform. Being well-versed in scrum/agile workflows is a bonus.
  • You can convey complex ideas and technical concepts to a diverse audience.
  • You are driven to achieve hard goals, inquisitive, and take pride in the products you create

Pay Notice

  • Compensation for this position will be negotiated based on the candidate's experience level and location. The posted salary band is applicable only to the San Francisco Bay Area and is subject to change.
