Senior DevOps Engineer

About Mytra

We’re creating an entirely new way to solve the most ubiquitous problem in industry - moving and storing material. We’re applying robotics and distributed software to create a new class of product for this $1T market. We’re focused on the supply chain industry first. The industry is in a massive bind with the continued growth of e-commerce, sharp rise in costs, and supply chain disruptions. What has been a “sleepy” industry for decades is now at the epicenter of sustaining the global economy.

About the role

  • We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to take ownership of the infrastructure that powers our robotics platform, enabling our engineering teams to deliver with speed, reliability, and confidence.

What you'll do

  • Own and evolve our CI/CD pipelines (primarily GitHub Actions) to support rapid iteration and reliable deployment.
  • Develop and maintain containerized workflows using Docker and orchestrate deployments in Kubernetes.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices to standardize and scale deployments across our robot fleet.
  • Collaborate with the firmware team to understand the in-house stack and build deployment tools that bridge hardware and software.
  • Collaborate/interact with wider infrastructure team to ensure consistency and best practices, when applicable
  • Ensure reliability, monitoring, and observability of deployed systems, with a strong focus on safety and reproducibility.
  • Continuously improve developer productivity by streamlining build, test, and release processes.
  • Drive adoption of cloud-native technologies and ensure security and compliance within the DevOps lifecycle.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with or interest in MLOps for machine learning pipelines (training, validation, and deployment of models at scale).
  • Background in robotics, IoT, or hardware-software integrated systems.
  • Familiarity with edge computing or distributed systems.
  • Experience with salt or equivalent configuration management tools.
  • Kubernetes experience around external devices, various deployment strategies, and debugging techniques

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
  • Strong experience with GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, and modern IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Helm, Ansible).
  • Experience building robust CI/CD systems for complex software stacks.
  • Comfort working in a hybrid environment where cloud services, on-premises compute and on-device deployments need to integrate seamlessly.
  • A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills—you’ll work closely with firmware, software, and ML engineers.
  • Passion for automation, reliability, and empowering engineering teams.
  • Experience with cloud providers such as google cloud or AWS for CI/CD purposes
