Position Summary 

 

NanoVation Therapeutics (NVTx) is looking for a collaborative and scientifically grounded Senior Associate, Alliance and Project Management to join our team. 

 

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Alliance and Project Management, this role will be responsible for managing multiple and concurrent projects in support of our corporate goals and objectives. 

 

Our ideal candidate combines scientific experience with hands-on project management experience, enabling them to effectively support and collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders. You are proactive, adaptable, and highly organized, thriving in a fast paced environment motivated by opportunities to learn, contribute, and drive diverse initiatives forward. 

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

 

Alliance & Project Management 

  • Manage multiple concurrent partner and internal projects, ensuring alignment to scope, budget, resources, and timelines. 
  • Support partner SOW development; serve as primary external contact and drive delivery of contractual milestones. 
  • Develop and manage internal R&D project processes, including SOWs, resourcing, and budget tracking. 
  • Build project plans using formal PM methodologies and align cross functional stakeholders. 
  • Track milestones, manage risks and critical paths, and ensure timely reporting and invoicing in coordination with Finance. 
  • Communicate project status and milestones to Business Development and leadership. 

 

Building BD & R&D Systems and Processes 

  • Establish and maintain consistent project management frameworks and best practices across BD and R&D. 
  • Identify and implement process improvements to optimize execution. 
  • Develop and maintain tools using Smartsheet and Microsoft applications. 
  • Manage BD and PM databases, support CRM implementation, and optimize Teams/SharePoint structures. 

 

Project Management Framework, Training & Support 

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a standardized PM framework and toolset. 
  • Train and support teams on PM tools, methodologies, and best practices. 
  • Support team members through mentoring and providing guidance on assigned projects.  
  • Provide administrative support for Operations, Finance, and IT troubleshooting. 
  • Additional responsibilities, as required. 

 

Education & Experience Required 

 

  • BSc degree and biotech project management experience or a combination of the equivalent education and experience. PMP certification is an asset. 
  • 3+ years’ experience managing multi-disciplinary biotech/pharmaceutical projects. 
  • Track record of managing multiple projects and consistently meeting timelines. 
  • Ability to efficiently plan, schedule, track and monitor and report on project progress in Smartsheet. 
  • Strong organizational skills, time management, and ability to prioritize. 
  • Experience building strong working relationships with senior employees, external stakeholders, and third-party vendors. 
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral: Communicates with respectful, honest, open, and objective communication. 
  • Strong Initiative: Proactively looks for opportunities for self, peers, and the company. 
  • Innovative: Proactively learns, adapts and generates new ideas individually and as a team member.

What we offer
