Nema Health

Senior Product Manager

About Nema Health

Nema Health is a survivor- and clinician-led virtual treatment program for PTSD and trauma. We are on a mission to help all trauma survivors find lasting peace & healing. Nema provides virtual, evidence-based treatment that helps people feel better faster—and stay better longer. We are committed to delivering care that’s accessible, trauma-specialized, and deeply patient-centered.

At Nema, we offer employees an unparalleled career opportunity: the chance to be part of a mission-driven company while shaping its future during a pivotal stage of growth. If you’re someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, values systems thinking, and cares deeply about expanding access to mental health care, you could be a great fit.

About the Role

Nema is pioneering a new type of product team built for modern healthcare delivery. We believe empowered product teams—armed with the right tools—can build faster, learn more quickly, and stay closer to the people they serve than traditional product organizations. As such, we empower product managers to own the end-to-end software development process using modern, tool-driven workflows. In practice, this means acting as a full-stack “product architect”: operating across product strategy, engineering, design, and data analysis to discover user needs, design solutions, and implementing solutions using modern no-code/low-code tools, configuration-based systems, analytics, and AI-enabled workflows.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will work hands-on with clinicians, care coordinators, and patients to deeply understand pain points and translate them into scalable product and workflow solutions across the core domains of Nema’s business:

  • Growth: driving patient acquisition through direct-to-consumer and referral channels and guiding patients smoothly through admissions and into treatment
  • Care Delivery: improving patient and provider experiences through scalable tools and workflows
  • Billing/RCM: accelerating reimbursement through efficient billing, claims, and collections workflows

We’re looking for someone who embodies “T-shaped product skills”—someone with deep expertise in product management and a broad understanding across adjacent disciplines (like design, analytics, business strategy, and engineering). In this role you’ll collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners, translate insights across teams, and make well-rounded decisions that drive impact while maintaining product excellence.

What You’ll Achieve

In the first 3 months, you will:

  • Build a deep understanding of Nema’s care model, patient journey, and operational workflows
  • Map the current-state systems across growth, care delivery, and billing/RCM
  • Ship scoped workflow improvements through no-code/configuration-based implementations
  • Use rapid experimentation to validate hypotheses, uncover bottlenecks, and drive measurable improvements in conversion, experience, and operational efficiency

Example initiatives may include: optimizing referral pathways, redesigning payer eligibility and benefits checks, implementing personalized & automated touchpoints during admissions

In the first 6 months, you will:

  • Own end-to-end product initiatives with measurable impact on care and business KPIs
  • Partner with clinical, growth, and operations teams to surface insights and test improvements
  • Introduce new tools or vendor capabilities as part of the product toolkit
  • Establish documentation and decision frameworks to keep teams aligned and moving

Example initiatives may include: improving session occurrence rates, reducing provider admin burden, accelerating claims resolution and reimbursement timelines, implementing agentic AI tools to scale care operations

In the first 12 months, you will:

  • Own roadmap outcomes across at least one core business domain
  • Scale solutions from MVP into durable systems and operations
  • Deepen our product architecture
  • Help shape future decisions around bringing more engineering in-house as we evolve the tech stack

Qualifications

You’ll be a great fit if you:

  • Bring 4–6+ years of product experience with a track record of shipping thoughtful, user-centered products
  • Have experience in early-stage healthcare delivery startups
  • Have operated in environments with high ownership and broad cross-functional surface area (e.g., growth, ops, data, clinical)
  • Are comfortable working within a modern assembled tech stack—integrating and configuring third-party tools, not just building everything from scratch
  • Enjoy designing and implementing workflow solutions using no-code/low-code, analytics, and AI-enabled tooling
  • Are a structured thinker who can connect patient/provider needs to operational workflows and business outcomes
  • Communicate clearly, write well, and bring clarity to complex cross-functional work
  • Bring curiosity, humility, and an experimental mindset—test > learn > iterate

Why Join Nema

We’re a growing team of clinicians and operators united by a shared mission: to reduce suffering for people with PTSD and other trauma related disorders. As part of Nema, you’ll help build a company where both patients and employees can thrive.
